I like all three of their blogs but Andrew strikes me as the likeliest to be able to 100% support his lifestyle from poker: 1) Assuming his fiancee works they likely split rent and utilities; 2) he doesn't seem to be overly extravagant in choice of car or apartment; 3) he regularly plays in much bigger games than 2/5 so his potential gross income from poker could plausibly be close to 100K a year or even more.

It's not. You need to be a top 3-4% reg at 5/10 to be making 100k a year. Andrew is probably on average the third or fourth best player at most 5/10 tables.

I don't doubt that. Just so many variables that go into it that it's impossible to set parameters. Your game may be much tougher/softer on average than another guys. Making income and skill between the two unable to compare.

Andrews last 2 sessions has him up 8k(ish)? This overall means nothing, it just means he ran pretty well in a game that gave lots of action. If he runs well in enough juicy games, 100k could be attainable, regardless of what skill percentile someone perceives him to be in.

I think Doug Polk made mention in a video regarding high stakes 6 max NL.... something to the tune of, "You could be the 6th best player in the world and find yourself in a game where you are a big loser overall"
