Abe has done some positive things for poker in LA but he's also an admitted troll and can wind people up and he probably got cross with a green name and they put him on timeout. He will be fine and he'll be back

I observed the incident in real time and I was thinking he must be joking but then there was no punchline and nothing funny posted. It was just pure hateful negativity/cursing directed at one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He was banned with just cause. Negativity is pervasive through these forums and the poker community as a whole and that's not a good thing.

LOL.... so is a lack of self-awareness.

I liked Tappas extended video a lot. With the AA, I would always open for $15-25 in a 1/2 - 1/3. No need to get fancy, there will always be 1 or 2 people willing to gamble on a big open like that.

Tappan and/or Andrew do you guys have a set number of buyins you bring with you to each session if so what is that number for you? Also does this number if you have one change from 1/2, 1/3 and 2/5 buyin games?

You guys are right, I have been nothing but positive with Andrew and Tappan and have yet to be berated with senseless insults or labeled a "nut hugger" in this thread.

What a terrible thing to have to go without.

OOT, NVG and other sub-forums have "containment" threads for people or subjects that need to be segregated without perverting free speech. That's probably the best way to go for the "OG Vegas Vlogger"'s diehards to flame post away.

However one especially nasty poster had to not just perpetrate nonsense, he had to be very over the top rude and abusive to Gobbo. If I were him, I would also feel that a few hateful losers itt had stripped the privillage of the rest of us to get to discuss OGVV because he shouldn't have to deal with mod'ing ad hominem hate and attacks towards posters and mods.

And before one of you half-wits start slamming your keyboard about "safe space blah blah blah" just remember you're being critical of people having a safe space to post, and that's exactly what you want for your hateful ramblings, a safe space where you won't be judged.

Or just find a way to move on and not post or talk about OG, like he and the mods have requested. I mean is it that hard to just take your comments to YouTube?

The problem with YouTube is that the creators can delete comments so you know pretty much all of the comments will get deleted (not just over the top stuff) preventing any sort of discussion unless it is overly positive and not critical at all.

Totally depends on position and table make-up. If it is a weak table, I will isolate at times with subpar hands.

I'm sorry but I had to stop watching Pokerkraut's videos a while ago. One of his 18 minute videos was just a few minutes of him driving to play poker, then cut to 10 minutes straight of him walking in a hallway trying to explain a hand in broken English. After the third or fourth video of in a row of him doing this I unsub'd.

What is defined as a poker pro? Someone who pays for all life stuff with money made from poker?

Someone who's main income comes from poker.

Andrew's vids are great for reasons already stated. Competence, attitude, etc.

I was on the fence with Tapp originally as he was a little monotone for my taste, but the last few vids have been great. Honest hand analysis is refreshing. Dude deserves more subs.

Kraut's poker run was entertaining. I lol'd at the casino running out of Jager so he had 5 beers. Theses guys seem to get crushed at PH at these stakes. Great balance of poker/Vegas vid.
