Trooper would have to have 8+ hour poker sessions, everyday to have a chance at hitting 100 hours.

Trooper does not have the stamina for 8 hour sessions.

Serious question, can you give your player card to someone else, and have them play for you ???

Great vid Andrew! I was actually there playing 2/5 a few tables over from you and wanted to say hello at some point, but certainly not at the tables. It was cool seeing you in the game knowing you were probably filming. As a fellow Vegas cash game grinder documenting my own journey here, I'm looking forward to more vids from you and perhaps meeting up at some point to talk poker in Vegas or whatever.

So since the 5/10 community in vegas is so small and most of the players are aware of Andrews blog (been a topic of convo at a few tables ) how will that affect him?

Also does him revealing the building he lives in cause any concern?

By far the best poker related vlog

Just checked on Bravo because I forgot most of the details.

Will be interesting to see how many hours Trooper ends up with.

He's on a pretty massive heater since starting, so he'll hit at least 80 I bet. If the math evens out and he starts losing it back, I predict he'll play less in order to still turn a profit.

But on the plus side, the illusion that he can do this for a living can be extended another couple weeks.

√ I'm in it for the poker content, so for me it's a win.

Poker content, plus poker analysis/commentary tops walking around and talking in my book.

Sure but technically you are breaking the rules. I've seen people do this and as long as the name on the card matches (dudes playing under a card with Sally or Mary on it will run into trouble), the gender you are fine. If you are a regular and dealers know you, just make sure you always tip enough so that the dealers look the other way.

In addition to random people stalking you because you reveal where you live, where you hangout, and the car that you drive, giving away your playing style to so many people is a negative of having a vlog. Of course poker is about reacting to other people's play so Andrew probably knows what he's saying in the vlog and will adjust his game accordingly knowing that his reg opponents have seen him give away some hand walk throughs/though process. Heck, some tourists maybe are using the same info.

There is the chance that he selects certain hands to show on the vlog which are his exception hands and will give him more action at the tables. He's a smart cookie if he does this and it has the Doyle Brunson Super System effect where it makes people play much more aggressive and you adjust by tightening up and making money. Who knows?

My main concern is someone knowing you have several thousand in cash/chips on you when you're driving around town/coming back home at odd hours. Vegas is a town where people get in some bad financial spots and that's where people do stupid things. I would suspect most poker vloggers/poker players have a concealed carry permit with the intent to never have to use it. I do.

I think the best feature of Andrew is his humble-ness. If it's fake, great, it makes him more likable in the videos. If he's like that in real life, that will get him far because it will keep himself in check and will make him aware enough to put in work in whatever he does.

The people who get diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and die at 55 of a heart attack fall into 2 main categories: (1) The people who eat nothing but fast food, cookies, and chips for all their meals and are obviously doing the wrong thing and (2) the parents who just have fast food, cookies, snacks, and such when they are rushing out the door, hanging out with their kids, and here and there in addition to eating their healthy 3 meals a day. Sadly an extra 300-400 calories of fast food 2-3 times a day here and there adds up pretty quickly when done on a CONSISTENT basis.

The same could be said for winrates in poker. If you play your A game for 7 hours a day but it takes you 30-60 minutes to get into A game mode going into a session because you're chatting with buddies your first few orbits or you start to wind down 30-60 minutes before leaving and autopilot the last few orbits or you turn on YouTube mid session for 1-2 hours just to relax while still playing in the game, then your winrate of 10BB/hr gets knocked down 1-2BB/hr. At 5-10nl, and a 2000 hr a year schedule, you are losing say $15 an hour for 3.5 hrs of play a day over 5 days a week over 50 weeks a year (you should vacation more and play only 46 weeks a year but that is for another post)...so...just over $13K a year. Hey, that's a down payment on a house in LV 3-5 years ago!

So - and to be generous (considering he has **** all responsibilities like kids etc)
7 hours sleep,
1 hour breakfast and getting ready,
2 hours edit vlog,
7 hours poker,
1 hour lunch,
1 hour total for other breaks,
1 hour travel to poker and back,
1 hour dinner
1 hour to clean ****

2 spare hours to do what? Laundry?
Remember this is a 2 week challenge, so if you say he needs time to socialize, he can play poker those 2 spare hours and bank some free time in the weekend or something.
Whenever I miss a hours challenge or end up grinding hardcore in the last 20% of a challenge to make the target, I blame my girlfriend. I spend way too much time just chilling out/going out with her but I love it. But then I think of all the time I save by not totally distracting myself from the game by being horny, seeing some piece of tail walk past the poker room, imagining my girlfriend wearing the same thing said piece of ass is wearing, and getting insta-hard and not being able to focus on the game for 1-2 orbits and I figure, I'm just being more efficient at the tables by getting the basics out of the way BEFORE hitting the tables

solid brah..totally enjoy your thought process and how it applies/works situationally at the 1/2-1/3level as i am a 1/2-1/3 player and 2/5 shot taker myself

this is not to say i do not thoroughly enjoy tappan, jake and andys analysis and commentary

**YOU GENTLEMEN ROCK AND ARE CERTAINLY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FUTURE PUSH TO BRING POKER TO THE MASSES..I THINK I CAN SPEAK FOR A LOT OF PEEPS IN THE HOPE THAT SOME OF YOU GUYS ARE ABLE TO CARRY THE TORCHES RESPECTFULLY, HONORABLY AND WITH A LEVEL OF INTEGRITY WRT OUR GAME THAT ONE WOULD WANT OTHERS TO ASPIRE

i owe proper gratitude imo to you in particular Jake..i think it is quite thoughtful of you to offer the poker related content that you do considering your position in life being "patched" n all

i really appreciate that you arent a greedy pos when it comes to sharing your thoughts on high level cash play for free and with seemingly genuine selflessnes...mega props brah... it seems the community needs an approach like this imho..

****i also enjoy tappans andys and wheys insite equally for different reasons i will have to say sorry for confusion im smoking haha

i know its a small sample, and we really havent tangled with super duper 5th level thinking and i certainly wouldnt expect you to explore a whole bunch of that but i think your vids have a great balance so far jake, life and not-so-technical poker

again, i have no problems with any of you guys banging long vids...if the content , professionalism and creativity are there , i can watch 20 minutes eeeeeeeezily
