DC- I agree Andrew comes off as super likable and is likely spreading through word of mouth for that reason. I don't advertise that I watch vlogs at work, but I'd be much more likely to suggest Andrew's vlog to a poker person who I knew on a professional level than Trooper's. I still like CzechRaiseCharles the most, can't even put my finger on it but I think it's more than just the fact he does Omaha.

I also agree that I'm out of my element commenting on Boski's vids because I haven't played tourneys with any volume or seriousness in years. My only point was some of the plays FEEL really wrong at times. Like you, I don't know enough to say otherwise and his live win totals are there for me to see he's had some success. On second consideration, depending to who I were recommending a vlog.

The only vlogish think I'd be less likely to admit that I watch is Michael Morgenstern's blackjack army. It is interesting how he is getting so many followers despite giving hardly any advice and his advice being wrong over 50% of the time.

Lol I just weighed my Old Navy, XXL hoodie, it weighed between 2 and 3 pounds. Maybe 4 was a bit excessive.

Certainly am not. Some of his reasoning is really childish. I can't emphasize enough, I'm certainly no crusher it the game, lost for the year in 2016, slight winner in 2015, bigger winner in 2011-14 but nothing that I could ever live off. NLHE is kind of dead in my opinion, too many solid players and not enough new people with money getting into the game. Not sure if it is tied to the economy or if people just do other stuff. I think the poker boom would not have been such a boom but for the mentality of milieu in which it happened.

Seriously, did trooper lose more than water weight and a couple of days of pre-weigh in pigging out ???

I'm pretty sure I could move my weight by 12 lbs within 2 days by pigging out and slamming a gallon of water before the weigh-in.

Professional fighters I hear can vary their weight by 20 lbs in 24 hours ???

Trooper really taking the high road in that last vlog (face palm).

Dude has never looked unhealthier since moving to vegas.

He's also not "so busy". Sitting around in your boxers and watching lame ass Hodge twins YouTube videos does not constitute "busy".

Oh Frooper.

I think it is obvious that Tim reads this thread regularly but for those that need further proof: Yesterday I post here about how Boski and Neeme and others enjoy interacting with their fans in the comments section of YouTube and how Trooper does so rarely and when he does so, he just explodes by swearing, going off on people, and just threatening his haters. Well, after I post that, Trooper gets active in the comments of his videos.

He first blows up at someone threatening them and daring them to make the comments to his face and saying they will "pay" for their comments. Then today, he goes through random comments and gives lame replies to the positive ones to make it seem like he cares and reads them. His comments are littered with short and choppy replies for today's and yesterday's videos.

So he clearly reads this thread and takes what we say to heart. Funny that he won't come back on here and admit it. Classic Tim, SMH.

Now Trooper, listen up!!!! Add some new content to your d*mn videos! Do something that isn't in your apartment, isn't a mailtime, isn't walking on the strip, and doesn't involve random clips of poker hands that don't match up to your win/loss totals. The last video you "won" $200+ but your stack looked way smaller in the poker clips. Do something new and original. You don't have to leave the country but find something in between the excitement of Austria and your boring daily routine. Even going to the gym, getting a drone with all that Patreon money, going walking around Red Rock canyon, doing outdoor activities at Lake Mead, or doing a roadtrip (maybe even take Molly) to LA or Phoenix. Seriously. Take any of these ideas and reward your viewers with some new content. Good luck bro!

Same with Trooper, I would love to live my days in Vegas with nothing to worry about except where to play Poker. But I wouldn't trade that for my 6 figure job, house, and retirement nest egg.
A very reasonable point.
I can say why I like Trooper -- he is like what might have happened with me had I made different life choices. About 15 years ago I almost moved to Las Vegas (had a job offer, but some details fell apart before the move) for a regular IT job. I would have played poker on the side and who knows by 2017 maybe I would have transitioned to playing full time, maybe I would have remained a weekend table warrior. We are about the same age, so I kinda get to see what my life might have been like, had I gone the Trooper path instead of the path I took. As far as why I don't do it now -- well now I have a wife, four kids, a mortgage in a city I don't live in anymore and I own a business. I'm where I am and am happy being an underground weekend warrior (damn you Texas and your gaming restrictions) plus an occasional week long excursion to LV or LA for just poker.

There is still hope, if poker is still a thing, to whittle away my retirement days in LV ... we'll see what happens in 2040 ...

Nah, the recreational weed will boom the local economy by 2040. Rates for everything will skyrocket like Denver/Seattle. So much to the point that the "undesirables" won't be able to afford to live here. You'll have this yuppie microcosm of "elites" on vacation amongst Denver/Cali hipsters that have moved here cause it's no more space there. By then a single bedroom apt in Vegas will be around $2500/mo, much cheaper than $3500/mo in LA/Denver.

This city is on the up & up guys!

Andrew Neeme released his latest vlog about the beginning of his March Madness weekend. No vlogs since the start of MArch Madness so I'm thinking he played all 4 days and has enough material for 4 vlogs which will last him a week easy unless he does the Super Bowl weekend thing and releases 3 vlogs in 1 day.

His vlogs are so upbeat compared to you know who. Neeme visits different poker rooms and even gets games going in small rooms using his fan base and Twitter. When someone mentioned earlier that Trooper should host a game but he doesn't have the personality to do so, it seems like that would be a perfect gig for Neeme! He's got the fan base (2X of Trooper and probably higher average income) and the personality to do it well. Live at Mandalay with Neeme? Luxor Live with Neeme? Harrah's HomeGame with Neeme? Friday Night at PHo with Neeme? Mirage Madness (Mandatory Double Straddle) with Neeme?

Anyway, great vlog! Perfect mix of hands, explaining the March Madness poker scene in Vegas, and some degen Vegas gambling courtesy of a donation from a fan. (I guess the first few Starbucks cards that Trooper got were pretty cool but that got old quickly. Kraut's figurine collection is pretty original and has some character behind it. I think Neeme, who had a little degen in him when he first rolled onto the scene in LV, needs some good ol' fashioned Vegas gamble to his donations. Maybe sports bet tickets? A cash out voucher that he must grind out in a VP machine? Poker chips that he must wager at BJ or roulette, although you can't record that so maybe not the casino chips. I like the sweat with me aspect of the donations. He just needs to put that in at the very END of the editing so that we sweat it with him between vlog.

Go Neeme to 50K!

Does trooper play tournaments? What is his end goal? surely making 200 a day won't last forever. I would assume a player like him would just grind the WSOP for big scores to live a little more comfortably.

He is giving the false impression he is surviving from poker which is clearly not true.

I cant wait for this shot at 5/10

As much as Trooper whines and complains, he shows his true colours. I'm a big fan of Neeme but I have to wonder about his darker side. Obviously he does not show us and is more professional, but there has to be something lurking. You never see Andrew or hear about him losing his temper. Makes you wonder that's all.

Wtf? Next you're going to hypothesize that Kraut smacks his wife around because they always look so happy Together and Pure Agression likes running so much because he's "running from something."

That's some half baked logic, bro.

That's not that unusual for people that tend to be laid back and aren't miserable. If he is confident in the games he plays in and has plenty of money to deal with downswings, I wouldn't expect to see his temper.

Trooper rarely plays tournaments. He used to grind SNGs at the WSOP a long time back. Tournaments are a great way to go broke. Lots of players grind cash games for a living. Trooper doesn't make anywhere close to $200/day.

Saying that he is going to take shots at 5/T is the stupidest thing I've ever heard Trooper say. He doesn't even have the balls to play 2/5. Given the current state of Vegas 5/T games and how i foresee them being in the future Trooper has a ZERO point ZERO ZERO percent chance of ever being profitable at 5/T.

Now back to reality. Trooper will get crushed if he plays 2/5 regularly. He thought the 1/3 game he was in was tough lol. Oh, and then he thinks he's some sort of endgame poker boss because he shoved his whole stack in the middle with KT on a 998 board. He still has no clue how you win at this level.
