Ideally you should do vlogs that are 10 minutes or less...splitting larger videos into smaller ones. Smaller videos are definitely better from an viewer's perspective and I would expect are better from a revenue standpoint although I don't really know how that works with youtube.

Depends on the content. I watch a good variety of content on YouTube. One channel I watch is a show documenting a sneaker store here in LA. They do 1 hour episodes and they're fantastic (however I still have no idea how they can use main stream music).

For a poker player who also partakes in interesting activity, 20 min is prob optimal if you're shooting for one or two a week. Daily no more than 10 minutes for sure.

ya tbo im not super pumped about this first vid, it was mostly me figuring out how to get shots and try to edit (both with limited degrees of success) and what it came out as was a pretty bloated 45 min thing. debated not uploading but at the end of the day i had fun making the vid and it's something i want to work on improving on so decided to put it up and then just keep rolling from there. some of the issues are pretty obvious (too long, shakey camera ect) while other things i'm hoping people can give me advice/feedback on and can progress from there.

afterwards will be posting up a poker hands video (1 of 2) that accompanies the main video and i do think people will enjoy watching if not just to see my dubious at best 1-2 shenanigans
