That just makes me shake my head at Trooper a bit. Yeah, yeah, "he's doing what he wants" etc, but he could have probably been part time dealing this whole time for a little income and still kept a very similar vlogging schedule to what he already has. Dude didn't even work a lot when he did work outside of the WSOP. With WSOP coming up, do i even have to ask if he looked for a couple months of work?
I mean, if he genuinely pulls in some income from youtube, that would seem like such a perfect gig. Find a dealer job for a couple months and grind that and vlogging, make a nice little chunk of money, then try to coast as usual the rest of the year. it's basically a summer job.

Sounds like PK is thinking of not accepting the dealing jobs that Luxor is offering at other properties. I would say this is a big mistake, once you are out it is harder to get back in. I'm not sure how much money his wife brings in, but I would advise against going "pro" again.
Yesterday's Vlog (which is Wednesday), Trooper said he had a very specific plan for Thursday.
Thursday rolls along, (today's Vlog) and Trooper cancels his "very specific plan" and decides to stay in Pittsburgh another day. Just unreal this guy is.
Well you could guess what happened and you would probably be right.

Trooper used to have his subs increase the most during the WSOP. Andrew, Boski, Brad, etc. didn't even vlog during the 2016 WSOP so I'm curious if the number of subs they get goes up significantly.
I'm the perfect example, never even heard of the guy before the last 2016 WSOP. I saw a post on Reddit and watched his Vlog where he dropped $600 the first day playing cash games in the Pavilion, sub'd immediately. Knew this guy was special (good and bad).

Just watching neemes vlog, guy is on another level. Just randomly hanging out/getting showed around by a local who watches his vlog. Seems like a top guy how easy he is around people who he's just met this first part of a vlog where he's recapping his Barcelona last night away from poker is the best part of vlogging I have seen from anyone. . Also watched negreanus new vlog and whilst obvs hate what he stands for as a pokerstars pro and his views on rake , I enjoyed his vlog like him as a person.

Just watched this and checked out a couple of Troopers recent videos from his trip. I think one thing that makes Andrew's trip videos far more interesting, for me at least, is all the funky little bars etc he visits. Iirc Trooper doesn't drink so he's never in any bars?
No, Tim doesn't drink. But it's still entirely possible to create interesting content in a location away from home without drinking. Go to a marketplace and talk to some locals, meet up with a subscriber in the area and have them show you food places nearby, etc. I root for Trooper to do well but it gets tough to continue following along as each good idea he comes up with ends up fizzling out into nothing, ends up being the same general content as before (coffee-walk-coffee-complain-poker-sleep), or never materializes. TAA was a great concept and started out as being really interesting but it's become more of the same. Hope he gets home safely and finds new success in Vegas during the WSOP.

But you are right about the food. They can be expensive and add up during traveling. So let's say a low avg of $90/day, that still puts him -1600 for the trip.

there arent groupies in pittsburgh and the shout out was to one of the local regs that plays at rivers , do you guys realize driving across country sleeping in hotels , eating bull**** food everyday while video taping , editing vlogs at freaking starbucks may take a little something out of you ???? then you have to be fresh mentally to play poker for a profit , seems to me the ol trooper hit a wall . I like the kid , like his vlogs . what he does takes major balls , 95 % of you that critique him wouldnt last 3 youtube videos of your own lol. The guy been at it for awhile , I give him props he is doing what he loves playing poker and making videos , and seems to be making a decent living doing it. Dont hate the player hate the game.

Pretty rough run. Glad Trooper is got enjoyment out of Pittsburgh. You can tell he's beat and it's showed in his results further into the trip. It affects all players, but you can tell Trooper's game is really impacted by his mood and state of mind.
I think everything is right now. Changed the -75 at Harrah's AC to positive and added the -263 the first night at Cherokee (barely any poker was shown so I missed).
January has CET and AVN, Trooper did very well during both conventions. February sucks outside of super bowl Sunday and his results reflect that. Second week of march NCAA conference tourneys are in town and he crushes. Second half of March through first week of April has NCAA tourney - Trooper does operation uptick during this time and crushes.
So when the convention goers and tourist show up he crushed as he should. We'll see how he does during wsop and if he has the same kind of post wsop dip in results he had last year until the 100 hour challenge.
