Yeah... I don't expect much from t-shirts either.

Trooper's t-shirts should have the funny pics of him some of you use as avatars --especially the one with the red wig and funny hat.

Not sure how you construe that as personal grievances. I was discussing SteveO's analysis of Trooper and his vlog. How is that not relevant here?

Admittedly not a big deal one way or the other, it's just a thought/observation.
which also applies to every other lease/purchase in the history of traveling..good point.

I'd just like to add, I hope he's breathing oxygen. not doing so is not good for the human body.

Consider it an opportunity for personal growth and the development of self-awareness.

Trooper's haunted house jinx continues. That Baltimore casino is nice but you see some unsavory characters there. I prefer MD Live and MGM NH.

The point was, friend, if he owns the car he's devaluing it by a few hundred bucks with the extra 5,000 miles +
maintenance wear that he wouldn't endure just driving around Vegas. If he is leasing there is no way he has put 10/12k miles a year on that car driving around Vegas so he could have gotten those miles on the car instead of paying for miles he never used. Whereas since he owns the car it may have been better value wise if he rented a car for 2 weeks on a Hotwire/Priceline deal for $150 that had unlimited miles. This will prove especially true if the car breaks down along the way and suffers a major repair.

Theres something wrong with this thread when guys are trying to figure out expenses and cost of simply driving a vehicle on a road trip. Get yourselves together.

You assume Trooper has a Credit card versus a pre-paid debit card.

Not sure if he does ?

I nearly dare to ask what self-respecting grown man doesn't have even a like idk a discover card or a first premier mastercard with $500 or $1000 limit on it? Is the RUSHCard and the Magic Johnson netspend commercials really hitting it big?

I'm probably going to be called snobby or out of touch or something but it seems prudent as an adult to have $1000 credit available in case you need to travel or make a significant purchase in an emergency. Just having that as cash instead of that cash being flexible for spending or investing seems fiscally foolish imo

I was hopeful after the first few vlogs (Colorado car sleeping was lol) but since Cincy the vlogs have been completely underwhelming.

As far as poker I'd venture to say that he's close to even for the trip now, and that after expenses he's in the red overall.

Can anyone confirm that he has lost every single session since the ghost hotel?

Not a bad idea.

His new logo is awful not sure what our boy Trooper was thinking on that one.

Where are you finding this kind of mystical / magical deal? I have rented a car for just one week twice this year for similar trips and the best I could find for a single week after taxes and fees was $360. Two weeks is more like $700 (a few fees are fixed and some are %). Plus I don't think he has a fixed return date.

Looks like the Poker Statistician is back home in San Diego, I'll post that one in the other thread.

You're right I got an email this morning from Priceline offering $7/day for a compact car and then I click through to check out and it's like $21/day total so upon further review it wouldn't really be viable For the length of trip he's on - if it was a week it would be like $160 (they give a little extra discount for exactly 7 day round trips)

I think Trooper won on the first day of the haunted house and has been losing since.

Yeah I'm kinda getting tired of the road trip too. Seems to have fallen into a boring pattern again.

Troop did this leg all wrong. He drove right past the best room in the area - MGM National Harbor - and could have stayed near there much cheaper.

Be curious to see Kraut's reaction to Luxor closing their poker room. Timing suck. If they'd done it a couple months earlier the dealers could have worked the WSOP.

Didn't realize that till just now. Wow, that is a real kick in the balls. Why doesn't Luxor keep it open thru the WSOP? They should get some uptick in traffic especially now that people know it will be their last chance to play there. I think Monte Carlo got a small uptick when they announced their closing.
