I am a Trooper fan but agree that was some BS. It was nice of Kraut to apparently let him out of the punishment but he hyped it up on his vlog at the time of the bet and got all his viewers invested in the outcome so Kraut was not the only one who had a stake in him paying up. Trooper definitely let the Troops down there. Still a fan but he should deliver on his promises. Plus whatever the punishment was would probably have had the potential to go viral and really give the vlog a boost. Win win.

Brad Owen's latest vlog was the first I've seen of him, and I enjoyed it a lot. I think he has the best system for actually showing live action integrated with commentary. I also really liked that he talked about specific opponents and how his strategy would change against them. If anything, the vlog was very slightly TOO much poker. Neeme get this balance most right IMO (except for occasional mail times, which are easy enough to skip.

But more generally, this thread could be very useful for people interested in finding good poker content. But in reality it is almost unreadable because of the borderline OCD repetitive garbage that gets spewed whenever Trooper posts (which is basically every day). His videos are occasionally pretty interesting, but typically quite boring, because he lives a very mundane life and usually posts the same thing every day. Which leads posters to post the same thing every day. How many times does DreamCrusher need to post that he lost $8.5k in 15 months or whatever? Or this guy...

Some might say he is okay for now, but he loses A LOT when things go bad for him. So when he does run badly at 2-5 things will get really interesting.

He used to say all the time that he doesn't tilt but I find that hard to believe. Does he really control his emotions that well?
...has posted 500 times in this thread, and from what I can tell they are all about Trooper. His last ~40 posts on the entire 2+2 forum have been about Trooper. Why does anyone care so much???? Why not give the thread an opportunity to discover and discuss good vlogs for a change?

I feel your pain friend. More importantly both dream crusher and steve007 feel your pain as well. Neither has posted in over 12 hours. Is this the beginning of a boycott...??

No not a boycott lol. But I definitely need to stop posting in this thread for a while because this is embarrassing. So this will be my last post here for at least a week.

Didn't this thread start out with posters only allowed to discuss vlogs that weren't about Trooper? It didn't get that many posts. I watched Brad and Doug Polk recently and enjoyed the videos but they were all about poker hands.

People root for guys like Andrew and Brad but those guys don't seem to have a bunch of haters, critics, and fans defending them. And their videos kind of seem like videos one might see on a training site. When I look at the Youtube comments, people are often just talking about poker hands in response to their videos.

Hang in there Bully

Troop eventually pushes us all to the darkside.
Maybe he is levelling us (project WW3)?

I couldn't get through event a single Trooper video. It felt like such garbage to me. I then tried Andrew's, and greatly enjoyed it. Now I've started watching Brad's, and also enjoying.

I like poker, and I don't enjoy watching train wrecks.

Nice like it was of PA to become a bit flexible with the payment arrangement? Fact is Trooper is a grown man and there isn't a damn thing PokerKraut can do to force Trooper to pay up on this bet. This is the way Trooper chooses to live his life. He's a scumbag for it and hopefully others recognize this and don't do business with him in the future.

Please take Blackballed and the guy that tries to pose as Wheydacheese with you. Those 2 have serious issues.

I'm sure to some degree Andrew and Brad have some haters, but I'm sure they never acknowledge them. I watched most of Troopers live stream last night. He seems to be consumed by the haters. Maybe that's just his confrontational personality, but it only adds fuel to the fire.

I've noticed multiple times with Andrew and Brad that when they are analyzing hands and are in a tough spot they readily admit to not being sure what to do, or asks the audience if there may be a better way to play it, or flat out say they made a mistake.
I think people react better when the vlogger admits they aren't perfect and do make mistakes. Trooper doesn't seem to have that humbleness. He would rather tilt and berate the play of others rather than admit he's got a lot of improvement needed to get better.

Surely you can't be serious !

You can't have too much poker in a poker vlog.

What, you want more "lifestyle" vlogs of someone parking a car, walking around, and drinking coffee

Trooper set the bar for what haters are. Haters are anyone that tries to help the Trooper out by giving him advice. Seriously, he came to an internet forum where people regularly engage in hand discussions and provide advice and then got all pissed off when people gave him advice.

It would have been one thing if Trooper had said "I appreciate everyone's advice but I'm going to do things my way." Forum members would think Trooper is stupid for not accepting advice but they wouldn't dislike him for it. However, Trooper's way of handling it was to name call people that were just trying to help out and say **** the haters. He created a confrontational atmosphere.

Trooper was like a heel in pro wrestling as if he actually wanted to piss nice people off and get them to hate him. Most likely though he's just a narcissist that didn't like people exposing holes in his game, and because he was widely supported at the time thought he could beat the so-called haters down into submission. I doubt he had any idea that so many people would turn against him (both on and off this site). The vast majority of the haters used to be fans.

If I may offer my opinion without "bullying" you Steve. You seem like the most normal of this bunch.

Don't just take a week off... take 3 or 4. And not just from posting, but from reading this thread, reading his Youtube comments, reading his Twitter feed, his Facebook comments and whatever other crap is available that is Trooper related.

I have a sneaking suspicion you will feel much better at the end of the 3-4 weeks.

From my limited knowledge, not much you said I can disagree with. From watching that live stream it was very telling how much the "haters" affected him. I'm sure there were many supporters watching that, but Trooper just wanted to tell everyone to f-off.
I got a kick out of how long he went on about the guy that sent him 2 inactive Starbucks cards. Even called Limons show and complained about it. Unreal.

Vlog #1 - cash game no casino footage, but HH post

He has posted a pilot / intro plus two vlogs posted about 2 weeks apart. I didn't catch a casino name, but he did note being in San Diego.

Vlog #2 - Tournament, filming hole-card style from table, lots of folding, but HH as it comes along.
