I had the tasting menu with the Kobe at Michael Mena (at Bellagio) a couple nights ago and the food was excellent. The sommelier wine pairings weren't that great though, so you might want to think about getting the premium wine pairings if you're a baller, or just not getting wine pairings at all if you're not.

Also, they do have a vegetarian tasting menu there for those that were looking for fine dining options without meat included.

Only been to the SF Michael Mina's but it was the best food and service I've ever had.

While I like fine dining I am not the biggest fan of steaks, has anyone had the non-steak entrees at steakhouses like n9ne and had them be worth the >100$ price tag?

I ask because I've always had the best experiences at restaurants when I order what the place is most known for and not menu items only there to appeal to a specific demographic.

OK so far I've got Spago for a place that has good food and reasonable prices. ~30 per person I guess?

I don't drink wine. I'll probably have a beer with my food. What other places besides Grand Lux or In n Out or Sonic's can I get a quality meal without paying more than ~50 per person?

Just got back, had a bunch of great meals.

Favourite all-rounder: Mortons the Steakhouse, amazing wine, steak and service, nice atmosphere
Best steak: Joe's Stone Crab and Steak at Caesar's
Best Alaskan King Crab Legs: Gallaghers at NYNY
Best cheap place: Grand Lux cafe at Venetian or Palazzo, huge choice, very good for the money and great burgers, open 24 hours

Also good: Bouchon at Venetian and Noodles at Bellagio

Just tried a place called Vinters Grill, its off the strip near Red Rock on Charleston. Amazing value at what might be a 1 star Michelin restaurant (if they rated this place). I highly recommend it, although its fancy you don't have to dress up to go there. Vino prices are very good and the wine list is top notch.

Avoid imo. RiverFenix and I had Giant Sea Scallops, Ribeye, Salad, some other app, and FOS there. Food was OK at best, but the presentation was just abysmal, and when I pay $100+ for a meal I want a god damn picasso on my plate.
