I've asked a few people that work there and they all say business as usual, why are people such sheep and pay these BS fees? Myself
Baggage Fee- I will almost always book Southwest first, with only 2 exceptions, they dont fly there or the price difference is $100 less (including fees) I applaude Southwest for not charging BS fee so they get my business
Resort Fee- I refuse to book any hotel that charges it, I will stay at off strip (Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Arizona Charlies etc) based on principal and still save money.
Parking Fees- I will not gamble or eat to any casino that makes me pay to take my money anyways, it may mean parking somewhere else and WALKING there but at least they wont get my parking revenue.
So here is the question, am I alone in my thinking, because sometimes I think I am, my solutions seem quite simple and if everyone followed it, these BS fees would not get collected, but Vegas is busy than every so obviously people are paying these fees without much resistance
Lets address this first...
Putting Hampton, Holiday Inn, and Arizona Charlies in the same category is like saying: I either want lobster, Steak, or Ramen.
Dude ive stayed at Charies. there is no comparison, price or quality wise.
The fees suck, but your post gains nothing. I hope you dont approach poker like this. Stop basing things off principal. you will lose at life financially. resort fees suck, but if you have 5 nights comped at rio, and the resort fee is 150. Still a great deal. considering the place your staying. Rio isnt the ritz, but it beats anything away from the strip.
