Ate at original Thai noodle , SE corner of spring mountain and Wynn , on Wynn. Good Tom Kah ka soup if you are into the sweet coconut soup and the chicken wings were OK. Very cheap. Open only till ten on weekdays too.

Thanks for the groupon coupon (which is ironic if you know me from the BFI group) , will put a couple to good use.

Also. Is there a massage parlor thread somewhere ? So many to choose from it's mind numbing.

My favorite burger place on the strip is Le Burger Brasserie in the shops between Bally's and Paris. You can get their classic angus beef burger (medium rare obv) with al a carte toppings. I get mine with sauteed spinach, goat cheese and crab meat. Yes, it's weird, but I'm a weird guy, and I'm telling you it's a YUM.

Also, if your GF/wife are in tow, their salads are awesome as well.

Glad to see Burger Bra is finally getting some love. My original post in this thread was on 06/10/2011 and I got admonished by augie_. Oh, the good old days.

PS. Whatever happened to ZeeJustin?

Went to Burger Brasserie today...was pretty meh imo. Had chicken tenders w/bbq sauce as an app, ate 3/5 strips, then had the bacon cheeseburger with american cheese and crab meat and steak fries. Ate about half and was over it....burger was slightly under cooked and fries were way too salty. Doubt I will be back

Lunch at Felipitos tacos on Trop/Maryland. Good enough Carne Asada taco. Shredded beef was a super greasy gross mess. Chicken taco was in a pretty lame el paso type taco shell tho the meat was ok. Not awful if avoiding the beef but not inspiring either.

Would you say this is good BBQ that you would recommend to Vegas locals, or elite BBQ worth checking out on a visit to Vegas?

My take (as something of a BBQ snob) - it's good BBQ, but not a must have that you should absolutely make a special trip for while visiting. However it's a perfectly fine lunch option while in town for a couple days, good food and more reasonably priced than what you'll find on the strip which will probably make up for the split cab fare there/back. They also have all you can eat, anything on the menu, for $25 which could be a really good alternative to a lot of similarly priced buffets.

I and others have also reviewed the burger ITT, it is definitely one of the best in Vegas. Again, wouldn't say it's a "we gotta do this while we're in vegas next weekend" burger, but it's fine to have it in the decision set when trying to decide where to grab a meal.

Pork is > Arthur Bryant's. Brisket is not. Sauce is not.

Now that I left Vegas. Sad face. I'll recap some of the spots I visited the last couple days.

Hawaiian ox tail soup at the California. They serve it from 11pm to 9am. I have been eating that soup and it's just as good now as it was back then.. good amount of meat , really good broth , add the garlic and some hot sauce and you are good to go , highly recommended.

Burger at binions. , before the proliferation of gourmet Burger joints all over Vegas. This was my go to spot. After 4-5 hours of grinding I always looked forward to a Burger at binions , grilled onions , Cheddar cheese , pickles with a side of potato salad. In my younger days I also would be able to finish off their chili , not anymore. Really good Burger and it took me fifteen years. Yeah , there are better Burger joints , but this one feels right.

Is there still that good tapas style restaurant inside the Hard Rock? Also where is this secret pizza place that people talk about in their TR's. Going to Vegas end of march and will try earl of sandwhich for the first time. Also looking to eat a delicious but not ridiculously priced burger. Already tried In n Out, and the burger joint inside of New York New York.

Go up to the 3rd floor of Cosmopolitan, there's a hallway lined with record covers between Blue Ribbon and Jaleo that leads to secret pizza.

The tapas place (Johnny Smalls I think it was) closed down. Replaced by an Asian concept.

Currently having the greatest chicken fried chicken and steak fries I've ever had at ellis island. $8.99 includes soup or salad...the white gravy is out of this world amazing. Could possibly be best tasting meal under $10 I've had in a few years

Just had the prime rib @ Ellis island came with baked potato, salad, green beans, and a 20 oz beer

The prime rib was huge and cooked perfectly. Whipped horseradish was amazing. Potato and beans both fresh.

14 dollars. Awesome.

Since this is the casual dining thread I'll say Chipotle.

But seriously, what type of food you looking for?

Need somewhere good at a Caesars property to use some comp dollars out.

Last time out there I enjoyed Holsteins and Grimaldi's, those are obviously non-Caesars.

I like Earl of Sandwich but that is cheap. Looking for something on par with Holsteins.
