apparently the slider truck is opening up a 24/7 restaurant in henderson, right off the airport connector at sunset and paradise

island flavor (hawaiin)

Only had it once, but their kalua pork and cabbage was delicious. Their roasted pork wasn't great for my taste, but others liked it.

It is in the summerlin area I believe. We order it at home from a delivery place.

The wings look non-conventional, but tasty nonetheless. The whole plate again, looks bomb.

Psh. I like wings. Saying they have a low ceiling shouldn't be controvertial.

I like Aloha Kitchen (D.I. / Decatur and across from UNLV). They serve 'authentic' Hawaiian food, but their cheeseburgers aren't too bad if you're looking for something cheap and fast.

Btw: Is there a restaurant on or near the strip that only serves bio/organic (not sure which is the right term) food?

i'm a pretzel nit (half-german) and while those sticks are not as good as you'd find in swabia, they get the laugenbrezel coating down pretty well and it's a decent imitation. better pretzels are available at hofbrauhaus, they import them straight from bavaria.

i had a surprisingly good steak and eggs at the cafe at terrible's. $4.99 well spent, and it comes with hash browns and toast i didn't eat (low-carb diet)

For a healthy casual option, Nevada Chicken Cafe on W. Sahara has good rotisserie and great mesquite BBQ chicken with a nice selection of side dishes.

Anyone know of a good ramen place?

ELV says Monta is probably the best ramen in Vegas. Been meaning to try out but haven't gotten around to it.

Monta is excellent. crockpot spent a few months in Japan last year and said it was better than the ramen he had there.

Had Monta, it was good. I recently had a spicy broth (wasn't particularly spicy but was red in color) in NY and it was amazing. Does anyone know of anything like that in LV?

Last night my roommate and I went to Lotus of siam (my first time). Everything was excellent. Garlic chicken wings, tom kaki soup, beef/noddle dish/ & coconut icecream w/stickyrice all were top notch. I would highly recommend lotus as this was the best thai meal ive ever had. For the price ($65 including tip for the both of us) this was the best meal i have ever eaten.

I tried out the Buzz BBQ at Trop/Hualapai. It was surprising good both times. The meat quality is as good as it gets, the sauce and sides are at least average to above average. Apparently this is a 2nd location, they have another one in or near NLV on Craig.

Funny, because I saw this place while I was driving yesterday (I live super close) and wondered if it was any good. Will definitely be trying it.

i love rice n noodle.

it's just standard greasy chinese delivery, nothing spectacular, but they treat their regular customers very well. sometimes they give me extra free appetizers!

plus, they are very good at remembering orders. i ordered some fried rice today; i usually get it extra spicy, but i forgot. they sent me a little cup of spicy sauce on the side! woo hoo!!! (i dint call them or ask or anything, it just showed up in my bag)

On the appetizer menu of Noodles in the B and also at the asian place in the Wynn (forget it's name) there's an Oxtail Soup that's amazing. I've never had the one from the Wynn but i'm guessing it's an exact copy. It's the best soup I've ever had. My wife and I go to Noodles and just order the Oxtail soup and some veggies.
