yama was once the only AYCE sushi i liked in LV, but the last time i went the fish quality and service were both subpar. they were slammed that day, which may have had something to do with it.

808 is my new go-to, but they are across town from yama. in general you don't want to go AYCE if you are particular about quality

i'm not from the deep south but i have enjoyed some amazing bbq there, and i feel safe predicting that you will be disappointed by any place you go here, the same way i am whenever i try a new chicago-style hot dog joint. lucille's is the best we have; i doubt you'll need a reservation unless you go at a really busy time.

They finally got to LA, so I gotta think Vegas is on the horizon.

Maybe. Religious zealots may just not want to exist in sin city though.

Never stopped In 'n Out, so there's some encouragement.

I heard on the radio that one opened in Chicago a couple of months ago.

+1 on this. A place that isn't open on Sundays doesn't really fly in this town. It's so good though. Have you guys tried their new Spicy Chicken sandwich? So good. I pick some up everytime I'm in LA on my way back to Vegas. I get like 3 sandwiches, and spend the rest of the drive fending off a heart attack.

I always stop at the one in Upland on my way back to LA from Vegas. Except the last two times I'd forgotten that I was coming back on Sunday. You have no idea how pissed I was that I didn't plan my Vegas trip to last until Monday.

Anyone ever tried Buzz BBQ? I noticed one opened at Trop and 215. It looks like it was the third one in town.

For corned beef hash request - Bouchon brunch. It is one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had. Get a croissant with it. The jam they give you is heavenly.

And the restaurant definitely felt casual, at least for breakfast. People wearing jeans and tees, with a very relaxed vibe.
