If not drinking, is $50 a person enough for Raku?

Jimmy's B-day is April 19th, and I'm gonna do my best to come out. Anybody who wants to join in a celebratory meal somewhere would be more than welcome and thoroughly enjoyed. "The more the merrier".

It can be done, but I generally spend a bit more when I go. The portions there are very small, so you generally want to order a ton of different items.

The BBQ Salmon sandwich at the Snack Bar in Bellagio is an amazing sandwich. Their chowder is pretty good too

The Eiffel Tower restaurant is very romantic (it's French, ldo) and has a great view of the bellagio fountains.

I am a huge wing aficionado and the garlic wings at Lotus of Siam are some of the best I have ever had.

Not exactly bar food, and not on the strip though...nevermind

Non-appreciator of wings ITT.

You probably go for the boneless variety when given the choice.

There are a number of factors that go into a good wing: size of wing, proper rendering or crisping of the fat in the skin, sauce of course.

IMO, the wing scale is as broad as the burger scale (from Jack in the Box to a place like Holstein's). I despise the oven baked (or under-fried), rubbery, thick skinned, wings you get at most bars and chain restaurants. But a good crispy wing, lightly sauced or with a dry rub, made by someone who knows what they are doing is a joy to my palate.

Those wings don't look right. They look more like legs that have been given the wing drumette treatment of cutting the bases off and forcing the meat up the bone into that little ball. Note the hachet job on the base and the ball joint on the meat end that looks more like a leg/thigh connection than a true wing drumette. Either that or the perspective makes it look like some kind of Foghorn Leghorn Super Chicken.
