Thanks for the info and pro-tips, I'll probably add the bacchanal buffet to the list.

Crab legs daily? or just certain days?

For dinner the have crab legs every day I'm pretty sure. They better for how much it costs for dinner.

Going back to the crispy duck (panang) @ lotus... I liked it better at Lemongrass. The peanuts and Lychee they serve with it make a big difference. Sauce and duck were equal to me as the "crispy" @ Lotus was almost non-existent IME.

my duck at lotus may have been the crispiest thing I've ever eaten

Best $2 food items you can get. Don't forget your green onions and pepper!

Small adobada fries, no sour cream. Best $5 meal around. Los tacos has better peppers/onions though

Ping Pang Pong @ Gold Coast ranked one of the top Chinese restaurants in the US by Yahoo!:
http://travel.yahoo.com/ideas/best-c...233318924.html

I'll be the first to admit that I've never stepped inside the GC before, is this place really that good?

Better than Panda Express? Yes.
Better than Noodle Asia/Noodles/NN9? No.
Worth a special trip to GC? No.

It's not like its some hidden gem worthy of hunting out. Express Chinese food, in the middle of a run down casino, prices are a bit lower than other Express Chinese eateries in better hotels, but that's it.

Ate at Holstein's 3 times while I was in Vegas last month.

Very, very good. Get the Gold Standard with onion rings

Buffalo chicken dip app is good as well

Holstein's is good, probably my favorite of fancy burger joint places (ahead of BLT, Burger Bar, etc).

Am I the only one who thinks Earl of Sandwich is at best a small step up from Quiznos?

Edit: To be more specific, Earl has the same mass produced bread, low quality ingredients sort of thing going on as other chain sandwich places.

Agreed.

When I first had it years ago, best sandwich I've had...
After frequenting earls multiple times a year, it's lost it's luster especially with so much other good food on the strip.

Now if I go to earls, it's usually just for their tomato soup.

Last edited by i am run; 02-18-2013 at 01:17 PM. Reason: Still a quality sandwich and still recommended.

I'm just the opposite. Of the ones I've been to I'd say Burger Bar, BLT, LBS (@ Red Rock), Holstein's.

I haven't been to Holstein's, but want to go - of the ones I've been to:

Burger Bar > KGB > BLT. I wasn't a fan of BLT, but I didn't get a burger there, so I guess I can't judge too much.

To me the best place to get both a burger and shake has to be Holsteins. Their s'mores shake is up there with the best shakes I've ever had and the burger's awesome
