I haven't been to many, but people seem to like Crown and Anchor on Spring Mountain (myself included)

FYI if you sign up on their website to get emails, Texas de Brazil will email you a coupon for a free dinner the month of your birthday

Have you tried Holstein's JayLV?

I had Smashburger once, and I thought more than anything else it was just greasy as hell. Certainly worse than the other places you mentioned. My one regret is I haven't yet had Fuku Burger, but I will soon and not be ignorant to it ever again. Burger Bar is really good and used to be my favorite, but they made their burgers smaller, and it's more inconsistent recently. BLT Burger is pretty good, and In and Out burger is fine, and for its price is nearly unbeatable, but I don't think it's in the same league as these other places. I just think Bachi Burger belongs among Vegas's best burgers based on my last visit there, not the best, but among the best for consideration. Had Holstein's earlier tonight, still the king.

As far as British Pubs go, the only one I'm aware of is Crown and Anchor. And personally I prefer the one on Maryland/Tropicana to the one on Spring Mountain. It's bigger, and it gets at least a little UNLV female runoff in there. I'm sure the food isn't much different, if any different, between the two but I went to the one on Spring Mountain once with a buddy of mine, and the bartender gave us menus and waters, and then was falling asleep on his feet and right before he passed out and fell, he woke up, like three times. Hugely entertaining, but awful on every other level. Must have been strung out/still high as hell.

Crown & Anchor to watch a match not shown elsewhere or to satisfy a hankering for a particular beer you can't find elsewhere, but I'd need to be dragged there to go for the food .

Yes, a few times and it's quite good as well. Best burger is a weird one IMO mostly because I like my burgers like I like my steaks and that's just simply done.

I tried Fusion Pizza in Henderson the other night... really good stuff... really quite expensive.

the main reason I went was to drink Firestone/Walker IPA beer, which they were supposed to have on tap... they were out and the owner said he wasn't going to carry it anymore. I guess I am not going back anytime soon.

It's a buy one get one free dinner, and I took advantage of it tonight. It was absolutely delicious, and I will be going back soon. I didn't even go over to their salad/soup bar area, and it was fabulous.

Whats the general opinion on Yama Sushi?

Yama Sushi sucks. I've said it before, and I will say it again, and again, and AGAIN. If you want a great all you can eat sushi place/experience, go to Goyemon or Sushi-Mon. If you want a decent all you can eat sushi place go to Kaya. I'm sure there are many other all you can eat places that are worse than those three mentioned, but are still much better than Yama, it was terrible the one time I went there and I can't imagine a reason in the world to go back, unless I was trying to eat the worst sushi in town.

It's fine, I think of it as an upscale lunch place. Been there for any number of business lunches and it fits the bill. Not sure I would think much of it for a nice dinner.

My favorite burger place. Would recommend the Gold Standard, though Steakhouse burger and Rising Sun are awesome too.

Tried going through this thread but with so many locations mentioned its hard to keep up. I'm staying at the Mirage, what places within walking distance should I go to for the next 10 days?

This. Also if you want to get a fried egg on the top of your gold standard, you won't be disappointed at all. Their milkshakes are also delicious. But I've only tried the Gold Standard, and Steakhouse.

Just got back from my 1st Vegas trip and have to recommend Ping Pang Pong at the Gold Coast (next to the Rio), and make sure you try the shrimp dumplings.
