I am pleased to report that Cafe Noodle, Spring Mountain Road, Chinatown, the home of good cheap Chinese food, has had a complete makeover from top to bottom.

That is what they call it. It isn't like there is only one recipe for al pastor or adobada.

Went to the smashed pig downtown before a concert last night and it was awesome as always. Its gotten to the point that I try to find things downtown to do so that I can visit this place. Last night I had the steak tartare and the fish and chips (def the best version that I have had before). Definitely need to take a date here sometime so we can share the butcher's block special that changes every day. Always been a fan of restaurants that have a limited menu where they just nail everything and this is a great example.

i've never been, but the several online reviews i just read make it seem like a LV version of a pretty common portland or seattle non-starbucks coffee shop. still probably a place worth trying because of the previous sentence.

Judged on google pictures of the interior and menu items, I think it's closer to a health-cafe version of FirstWatch than a coffee shop?

No, it's a coffee shop. And it's good.

I don't even know what it is...I just saw someone in a magazine mention that it's her favorite breakfast place.

Coffee's good. I went with some friends and had a good time. I worry about going to places that I suspect might be a little pretentious because I never know if I am laughing at people or with them, but it was a laid-back comfortable experience that was closer to the hyper-nerd/otaku than the soup nazi.

Had breakfast at PublicUs w wife and baby based on discussion ITT. Nice spot, family friendly, has a couple different eating areas so it feels very open and uncrowded. Good coffee, pastries, breakfast food. Had the Benedict and the breakfast sandwich. Prices $2 lower per entree would make me absolutely rave about the value of the place. Hipster staff, obviously. I recommend for a nice relatively quiet breakfast spot but we went at 830 and it was getting busier by 930. Life is Beautiful this weekend so not sure what it's usually like.

He's got a handful of them. I've been to the one at the Linq: http://www.guyfieri.com/guy-fieri-re...s-kitchen-bar/

It was anger-inducing good. He gets a lot of **** on the internet for being a troll come to life, but the food is really fantastic.

I dunno about fantastic, but i was happy with the one at the linq. You're paying a premium for the name, but it's Vegas.

I was working near his Manhattan location a few weeks ago and was thinking of stopping in until i saw the silly prices on coffee shop fare.

I wouldn't recommend the Guy Fieri place at the Linq. Mediocre, overpriced food ime.

Thoughts on Flippin' Good on Fremont St? Went last night, was quite good. Got the double farm burger, the spicy loaded fries and tried some chicken strips too...everything was good, no weak links.
