Just came back from a trip to Vegas and had a few interesting conversations with fellow punters there about the benefits of casino credit.

I simply withdrew money in town and played with that, but I spoke with 2 other gamblers (separately) who were explaining that they were given free rooms and some comps when they came because they are taking casino credit.

Is this a common thing? And is there negotiations that happen with this that happens with a host?

Otherwise where in the process does it come up? If I just apply online with Caesar’s for a 15k credit limit will they just say “select one of X rooms to stay in” or what?

Just curious how this aspect of things work, because next time I’d rather get a marker for 10-15k and get some free **** instead of paying extortionate resort fees and
withdraw cash from the bank.

You could always try it and find out. If you get approved, you don't have to take any money out.
