Arguing law on the Internet is different from arguing politics because most people will end up experiencing the law first-hand while most people will not experience politics first-hand.
If people want to take inaccurate political views parroted from heavily-biased sites, there's no real consequence that happens because of it. If people want to take inaccurate legal advice parroted from heavily-biased sites, they will find out soon enough.
