Just checked out the site for the first time (I know I'm way behind the times) but I'm super impressed. Love your reviews and your writing style. Next time I'm in town let's try to get together and have a food coma together.

I agree the site is really good, bro. But the site is owned by a freak and weird dude. He's also quite young. Maybe we should stay away.

Thank you. I know updates have slowed down, but I've been very busy with poker recently. Things will pick up as we get closer to the WSOP since that's when everyone's going to be in town.

Recommendations for a good quick lunch on the middle strip? Thinking either Momofuku (pork ramen), Olives (scallops with bacon), or maybe shrimp tamale at Mesa Grill. Anything else in this ballpark?

I assume middle strip means Table 10 is no good.

Can't do that for Friday but I'll put it on the list for Sat or Sun. Thanks! Basically was looking for something fairly light after I land and then I'm going for an early dinner.

staying at Linq and playing poker at Caesar's or Bellagio.

Ichiza on your to do list? Late, great, and inexpensive. Seems right in your wheelhouse.

Ate at Chada last week. Great thai food, nice ambiance. Their crispy duck penang is better than LOS. Had a question about the spicy level. I eat a lot of thai food, and a lot of spicy food. But Chada's medium spice seemed hotter than most other places medium. Is that just how it is there? Next time I go, I'm probably just going to order mild. I like spicy food, but not when it comes close to overpowering the natural flavors of the dish.

Took the Irish cousins to Chada Thai and asked for "Jimmy's picks". Still works.

Let's hear an Ichiza review. Almost went Friday night but we were staying at Aria and went to Five50 instead.

I've given the site name out to a couple dozen people. Thanks for all the good work Jimmy.

So you simply ask the waiter/waitress for Jimmys picks and they know?
What is Jimmys picks anyway?

Yes, all the servers know. No, I haven't tried Tonkatsu Kioshi.

Sorry for the major delay in updates. Poker is taking precedence.

Can't remember them all:

Pupu platter
Pork with sweet and sour sauce
Batter-fried shrimp with duck sauce
Stir-fried cottage cheese

Dude, Trust the Fat Man. But pass on the the oysters IMO. If you want to risk getting good ol' Vibrio vulnificus in the age of global warming, go to Bouchon.

I ordered two duck Panang and two charbroiled pork, one crispy. Then the cousins wanted to eat too so we had to order more. A few were gin and tonic fans, so I took them to Jaleo, where the one single lass met a gladiator from Ceaser's Palace.

"They all say they're Maximus, but once you get them home and get the breastplate off, most of them are Averagicus."

"Maximus says hi. He also says four other words now - really coming along there."

Few things are as quick as an Irish tongue.

you may underestimate the value of your work. i recommend your website to absolutely everyone. friends, strangers, randoms on facebook.

i've 'discovered' so many new great places to eat through your website, i've completely altered how I visit vegas. last trip i rented a room in chinatown just so i could be walking distance to chada and tofuhut.

thanks. x1,000.
