I've eaten there twice, and enjoyed it a lot both times.

Portions aren't massive like Hash House, and the menu is very limited and a bit gimmicky, but the quality and taste are 10/10..

What they serve isn't corned beef hash. It is a beef pot roast with potatoes. Perfectly fine if you are in the mood for that sort of thing for breakfast.

Agree 100% minced or cubed. Go to Du Par's at Suncoast, had there hash at the old location downtown it was very good and prepared the right way.

Downtown place was so much better than the suncoast location. Pie just isn't the same and the milkshake I tried was the worst I've ever had.

Bummer there pies rocked. Actually assumed quality would be better at Suncoast since the kitchen seemed way to small and antiquated at GG location.

I wonder if someone at Hash House at the Plaza reported Dupars for health safety violations?

The Dupars at the Golden Gate was fantastic for breakfast and for pie. Now that they are closed, Hash House has gotten a ton of their business.

Probably not, since I think they are both owned by the same people..man I miss Dupars..

Highly recommend getting The Slut at egg slut. It's not very filling but it's worth the experience. The breakfast sandwiches there are OK, not particularly noteworthy imo.

For regular breakfast food I think Bouchon is the best place on the strip.

Honestly thought the play was to wander blinking and hurting up the strip and hit McDonald's for a breakfast burrito. With that down and a coffee in hand, gingerly wander over to Bellagio, get on a couple lists, and try to compose yourself before getting into a game. I'm sure Jimmy has seen more than a few out of towners do this in his games.

Friends who like breakfast swear by Hash House A Go Go, but like Gobbo, it isn't my favorite meal of the day and wouldn't take my advice on the matter.

Supposedly, it was something to do with overdue sales taxes.

Hey Gobbo, ever been to Hearthstone?

If so, thoughts?

I saw the Salted Caramel Cinnamon Roll French Toast on the show Food Porn and it looked pretty tasty

That does look quite good. I'll have to check it out.

I have been toying around with the ideas of doing video reviews which would allow me to turn out a lot more of these and grow a youtube channel. Basically just setup a camera right after myself and my friends exit the restaurant and we just talk about the meal/restaurant/every dish we had for 10 minutes. Similar to what this guy does for movies:

Would allow me to do all the reviews while the meal is fresh in my/our minds and would be able to spread a lot more.

Cons: I am pretty ugly. Video killed the radio star, etc.

Thoughts?

Easy, reshoot every video with a couple of Rhino strippers.

Seriously though, I like the idea.

Dude, you aren't ugly. Try the videos out and see if you like writing or youtubing better and go from there. Ultimately people are going to respond more to whichever medium allows your passion to show through best.

Get a mini camera, record the whole meal, then edit out the boring ****. Upload to yt. Profit.

I will definitely try it. Don't have a computer to do editing myself but can hire someone on fiverr to do it for me for cheap. I'll try to get one out in the next week or two.

You need a permission from the business owner to do that and I am not sure if most restaurants would OK it.

Yeah, I don't want to tape the actual meal anyway. A review afterwards with pictures of the dishes edited in seems better to me.

I'm sure most would okay filming for use in a promotional blog, but it's still a good idea to check.

If you're going to have somebody edit it, I'd film some in-meal shots as well, even if you're not going to film the entire meal. It will give the editor some more film to work with.

Permission to record what you eat in today's mass media world, GTFO of here.

Its better to just do it and if they object then back off, they will be like deer in headlights if you ask.....what do I do, lets call the boss.
Or better , get them to pay you to record, kinda like Randy Santel.

You aint ugly gobbo, just fat, and who cant trust a fat food reviewer.

I think you would do well on Youtube!!!

There's hundreds of potential, welcoming restaurants so I don't really see the point in unnecessary confrontation, unless Jimmy's planning an old-school 60 Minutes-style ambush.
