Flight $579 (can)
1 week room $179 (USD)
After I buy my USD I'll have $414, which is exactly how much I started with last trip.

I don't think I'm gonna roll $414 into $6000 again but, its going to be a blast while I try!

400$ for a whole week incl. food etc.? wow your moneymanagment must be absolutely perfect!

What happens if you busto the $414 after 1 day?

This guy has done this a few times before and knows how to stretch out a dime. Any way, it is nice to get a perspective from this end of the spectrum instead of the endless TRs with pictures of $500 dinners and $10000 chipstacks.

That review has been there for a while now. It's not that bad.
Unless you usually stay at Bellagio, Encore....Harbour Island is liveable.

Like you've never seen a bug in the Mirage or MGM?

They have armed guards, so no real need for the taser.

Never stayed in a room with a dirty shower, that's not to say there aren't any.

$169 a month for a studio. It is what it is.

Surprised they had a limit game going at the MGM. How is the poker room? Last time I was there it was off to the side next to some emergency doors that had dumpsters on the other side (you could tell because you could hear the garbage truck dumping them). But I think that was just a temporary location while they built a new poker room.

I also walk almost everywhere and rarely take a cab, but the airport? A shuttle to the strip hotels is only $7 or $8. And aren't the closest casinos the MGM and Hooters. What route do you take from MB to McCarran?

Heels, I always leave from MB to go to McCarran. When I arrive its cheapest to go to MGM, also: be sure your cabbie doesn't take the tunnel. Unless you utilize the "long haul shakedown"!!!!!

I am playing over my head lately. I entered the $65 6:00pm daily at Monte Carlo. I was smallest stack when my buddy Coop went out & I went on a bit of a tear after that. Was dealt pp8, pp5, pp4, pp3 & pp2. All within a span of 18-19 hands.
Bullied the remaining players by playing aggressively pre flop & then I was dealt JJ & with two callers behind and an all in ahead of me, I shoved & somehow the hooks held up. At the end, the chip lead had me out stacked 4x, & he offered a chop.
$245.

I took it instantly. Later learned he had to be at McCarran for 6:00 am & he said he needed to get to bed.

He was a really good player & likely would have dismantled me easy.
So the current balance is $809.


And guess who walked as I was finishing out the tourney?
