He has 6-10k coming in the next couple weeks. His Wife has a full time job, and they have an additional 3k in savings.

Does your wife have benefits for you and the kids through her job? If so, that is a big help. If so, that is a huge help. I am surprised she could find a job in Vegas right now, although maybe things are starting to change a bit.

That is awesome. It sounds like you got all the ducks in a row now just need some rungood. I would like to move to Vegas, but I have a sick job here in Memphis that would be hard to get a way from.

Re: I moved to vegas to play poker blah blah blah follow me thread
i looked for u all nite at the golden nugget, my new rolls $5400, i too had a bad nite, but only $373 of it was lost at the poker, wasted a little bit on vbj at binions because they raised the payback from 6-5 to 3-2 again. as far as i know u wasnt one of the players who beat me, certainly not the rich kid with all the money my friend says was terrible and sucked out when all of my money went in preflop ($178 worth withAK against his AQ) he hit 4 spades in a row to make a flush.
am on the way back to my room in laughlin as i type on my laptop on open hwy between here and searchliight, and i might NOT come back to vegas just yet. had to go back, left $3000 of my roll in a safe deposit box in laughlin
choosing good games is by far the most important, u are absolutely right when u said everyone in vegas is solid. games are tougher, why else would u and i have both lost? great games all over the east coast, and i want to go where ill less well known.

Trust me, there is no chance I move to Vegas anytime soon. It probably will not be until I retire and get my RV and drive all around the country. That is still 30+ years off.
In the meantime, I will keep grinding in Tunica.
