Yes, it's cheap for a very good reason. It's also not near much of interest.

Having given this considerable thought, I have come up with the definitive answer.

If staying in Vegas during June, you will want to stay at

If you're going for the WSOP...I liked the Palms last year. First time there but it was close to the WSOP, had a cheap food court, and a small selection of table games. It wasn't too crowded and comfy beds.

It did suck for partying, nights out though. Cabs everywhere too. Not really close to anything.

***I'm not sure if I actually already posted this earlier in this thread***

For folks who play at Caesars properties, the price of rooms on the total rewards calendar is going UP. I reserved at the RIO just after the schedule came out for a very good price.

I got 7 nights at ph in June, and only had to pay for the weekend(Fri-Sat), total around 200. Now none of those days on the calender are comped for me(avg is around 50 a night), and the weekend rate almost doubled.

Son of a bitch! I used to get similar for Ballys for a week. I just checked and now i don't even have IP comped during the week.

Cosmo is better than all of them. Vdara is super quiet and has no casino or restaurant anymore. Aria is very nice, PH is great for the money.

All those hotels are right next to each other. You can't go wrong at any of them, but I'd stay at Cosmo.

Re: Hotels to stay at in June 2012

i'll start this post by stating . . . . . .

my best hook up experience was at the IP. it came with two girls, and they were friends from Utah if i remember correctly. i met them at the craps table lol. after lots of drinking and good luck gambling for a few hours they were ready to roll and so was i. so for the people in here bashing IP, it is possible to win a couple thousand and hook up with hot girls at trashy hotels.

now as far as a place to stay for wsop. if you're going to be out there for a month or more just get house with a couple people, or rent a 1/2 bedroom condo. the prices online look a little steep, but if you call the reality company chances are they will negotiate a fair price for you stay. this has been my experience the last 2 years. if you're only going for a week or two stay somewhere cheap. IP is cheap, and im talking $20 a night cheap. if you want to upgrade for a little more money, than i'd say ballys is the place to stay. i always stay there. mainly bc i know one of the hosts there, and he sets me up with a free suite. their rate $60-$70 a night if you are a rewards member. chances are if you gambling for an hour or so a day they will comp you as well.
