Hooters Casino "free promo play"

http://hooterscasinopromotions.com/r...Play_Rules.pdf

Similar to some of the others around town. Receive your $100 in free play over 3 days, a promo none the less, could be a lot of back and forth for $100

It's not that bad of a deal. You can park in the Trop parking lot and be in the Hooters casino in 3 minutes.

Re: Hooters Casino "free promo play"

I dont really get how these promos work... mainly because I never play any electronic games.

so you buy in for $100... play your arse off until it is gone or almost gone, then take your players card to the window and they recharge it for you at $50-day 1/$25-day 2/$25-day 3?

Re: Hooters Casino "free promo play"

Put $100 in a VP machine. For a $100 rebate like this i'll probably play $1 denom Double Double Bonus Poker. So $5 a hand. If I hit something decent like 4 OAK or 4 OAK with a kicker i'll take the profit and leave. Any 4 OAK 5's-K's pays $250, any 4 OAK 2,3,4's pays $400, any 4 OAK 2,3,4's w/kicker pays $800, 4 OAK ACES pays $800 and 4 OAK ACES w/kicker pays $2000.

If I happen to lose the FULL $100 then I go to the players club, inform them that I lost it, they will check my players card in their system and see that I really did lose it and then they will put $50 in free play on the same day, you go to a .25 denom video poker machine and play the $50 through at least once. If you don't hit a premium hand you should still be in the range of $40-$50 that you can cash out. The next 2 days you do the same thing with the $25 in freeplay.

IC... so as long as you play something(a hand or two) on the free 50/25/25... you can actually cash out those amounts?

No, Free play/promo money works as a rebate.

So on quarter video poker, you bet $1.25/hand, after the hand, you get refunded $1.25.

So for $25 free play/promo you need to play 20 hands before you can cash out for max value.

Re: Hooters Casino "free promo play"

I went and did this promo at Hooters today. I can confirm that the promo is legit.

I went to the sign up desk and handed over my passport cause I don't remember if I signed up there in the past. The chick explained the promo and handed me an "Owl Card".

I found a Gameking Video Poker machine and popped a hundo in and choose .50 denomination double double bonus poker game.

I blew through the whole hundo in 9 minutes, it was actually quicker though cause when i went back to the "Owl Rewards" desk I had to wait 2 mins or so in line until it was my turn. I didn't get 1 hand higher then 3 OAK! No flushes, straights, full houses or 4 OAK's. I did get dealt 10,A,J,Q of clubs with a 2 of diamonds. I through the 2 of diamonds away and of course I got the 2 of hearts, **** you Hooters! If I was a 77 year old asian lady I would have pulled the K of Clubs for sure.

So the guy pulled up my play, confirmed that I lost a hundred dollars within 9 mins, he laughed at a joke I made and then put the $50 bonus money on my card and said I can come back tomorrow after 8am to get the first $25 and then I can come back Monday for the last $25.

So I went back to the same machine I already played on. This time I chose .25 denomination DDB VP since I wanted to try and get back at least $45 out of the $50 in bonus cash.
I put $5 in the machine to start it out and proceeded to play.

I was about halfway through when I hit this hand:

So that pushed my credits up a little. I played the rest through and hit a full house and a few straights and this was what I wound up with off of the $50 bonus cash and my $5.

I played it down to $95, cashed out and left that dump of a "casino".

So as of now I'm down $10 and still have $50 in promo cash to go.

Thanks for posting this DMD!

I would find the 9/5 Triple Bonus Plus machine if possible. Or 16/10/4/4/3 NSUD.

how does using a passport to sign up help if you already have a player's card

Cause if I signed up in the past it would have been with my drivers license and i thought they would probably have the DL number in their system. When I signed up yesterday the girl didn't even ask for my address or scan my passport, I can probably go back and sign up with my DL license next week and redo the promo a second time.

Interesting , I can't participate right now b/c I don't reside in Vegas but will be there later this year - its been 4 years since I have stepped foot inside their casino - wonder if I can get away w/ signing up via passport or my driver license is still in their system at all

Do casinos have daily VP lessons? I've never played one before. Thank you!
