Any recommendations on where to shoot some sporting clays? I'm taking pops to Vegas for the PBR Finals and need some entertainment during the day as he's not a degenerate like my brother and I.

I considered the Gun Range but sporting clays might be cooler than just shooting at the range. Gun Range also seems more expensive than dad and brother would like.

Any thoughts and/or reviews of places would be appreciated. And my bad if this topic isn't separate thread worthy. Feel free to move to the general questions thread if necessary.

only outdoor shooting park I know of is:

I dont know iff they have guns/ammo or it's only bring your own. Other than that it's only indoor ranges. If you have access to your own guns you only need to go down I-15 to sloan, go right on LV Blvd S. and there's shooting areas on the left before Jean dry lake bed.

Call Tom at http://www.shootingsafaris.com I took my Dad out with Tom for his "Police Patrol" program a couple weeks ago for his 60th B-day and it was great.

Shot 12+ weapons including the 44 Magnum (and a handgun bigger than that 460?) sniper rifles from 200 yards.

If you just want to shoot clay, I'd still contact Tom, he works at the Clark County range that is referenced in the first responders post.

Have fun!
