This coming from a guy who joined in April 14' and already has 1200 posts. Well isn't that calling the kettle black. What's the difference in posting vids on youtube vs. posting multiple "hey look at what I am doing" threads in this forum?

Pretty sure you get a boner every time somebody new shows up to Poker Church. Not only that, but you have admonished people here who have made completely innocuous posts, that may have been a lame attempt at humor, but you are the first to be the forum police and tell them not to be that guy.

I have no history of making posts like this one, but you finally have just annoyed the crap out of me.

Wow an appearance from the TheTrooper. I'm looking back over my posts and I'm not sure if I look like a hater or a fan. Or maybe I just look like someone who is skeptical but thinks his videos are entertaining. In any case it's really obvious that I've been watching his videos.

I know that I've been skeptical of him in this thread but that's the way I am with just about everybody because many people will fail when they try to do what he is doing in Vegas. Also, I can't tell how good he is from watching the videos. I'm sure he isn't a huge fish and he should be better than most of his opponents but that's about all I know.

I find the Trooper to be entertaining. People hating on this guy need to get a grip. Here's a dude that has done what 80% of the degens on 2+2 dream of doing: moved to Vegas with a dream of being a successful poker pro. Yes, he can come off as a little goofy in the videos but I think he is self-aware enough to realize that and that's why they are entertaining.

Anyway, I hope he continues to post in the thread with updates.

IDK - its a little cliche so far, except we get to see it instead of just reading about it. Not enough bankroll, not enough liferoll, wants to be free & clear of any encumbrances. Not necessarily knocking the guy, but I dont think anyone would give him more than a 20% probability of success.

I think being a little goofy in the videos makes them funnier and more entertaining. It's much better than acting like a robot.

90% sure it was you from the vids i saw, maybe I'm wrong on the shades was quite awhile back and had just seen you in a vid with them on. does the hand sound familiar at all? you didnt show at all but you were preflop raiser in position and check-check flop, pretty sure you c-bet semi-bluffed when the 3rd spade hit the board then you fired again on blank river...nearly got me off hand, like i said it was well played in general lol...if your like super zen at the table though it wasn't you since this guy seemed a bit discomposed/steamed

I saw a guy 2-3 days ago at the Venetian and thought it might be him, but wasn't sure because this guy looked older. Turns out it wasn't him because the guy I saw was wearing sunglasses. Good thing I didn't ask. Would have been awkward to ask him if he was TheTrooper and then find out he wasn't.

Doesn't sound familiar but I can't be 100% sure. One thing against it being me is that I NEVER insta-muck. Last time I did that, a long time ago, villain had misread hand and called with 5 high lol. Obv I would have won the pot with 8 high. So I always show, or muck after seeing villains hand. I also dont tilt so I really don't think it was me. So many people playing poker in vegas, right this minute, so it's easy to mistaken someone.

Count me in as being entertained with the videos and hoping for more updates by trooper ITT.

I was kind of skeptical about the guy at first and assumed he was a fish because he comes off kinda goofy in his videos, but after reading his well written replies here I'm pleasantly suprised.

perhaps wrong on the hand, quite sure I've seen you a few times though in the 1200 or so hours of 1-2 1-3 this year you look very familiar, maybe you would recognize me though I did have shorter hair/sort of a mohawk last time I remember playing you

The Trooper is entertaining. Most his vids revolve around Starbucks, swearing and laundry. There will come a point in time, pretty shortly, where he has to move up in stakes or move out. But grind on Trooper!! We want to see more pokerz!

Seems he is going about it the right way. Has a job, looks like minimal living expenses, doesn't appear to be a slot or pit games player. Only leak I have spotted so far is the Starbucks addiction, but that is fairly minor. Good luck Trooper!

Lol... to clarify the starbucks addiction, I spend $2.17/day on coffee. I get free refills because I use a Starbucks card. I also get a free drink (any drink) every 12 times I use the card. In addition to that, I purchase my starbucks cards through a 3rd party vendor at a 9%-18% discount. Also, I edit & upload all my videos (usually about 600 mb) using starbucks free Google wifi (which is blazing fast for coffee shop wifi).

When I get starbucks at the casino, I use comp points for it. Though it is double the price, typically $4.05.

Hate to sound like a nit but it's actually pretty cheap considering all the details.

Btw, at least 50% of the addiction is to the cup itself. Kind of like a security blanket lol.

But it's true, no pit, no machines, and also zero alcohol, zero drugs, zero smoke. Used to gambooool, a looooong time ago...

You should post more. I am sure I am not the only one interested in what you have to say. This is what this forum is all about or should be about, poker players exchanging ideas and info and also having fun.

I take back my comment on the coffee. I never knew you could get Starbucks so cheaply. How does the free refill work? Can u get refill at another Starbucks location?

THere iz a lot of hate on 2p2 - however there is also a lot of love for dudes that are focused and trying their best. You are obv doing the latter and lots o peeps want to cheer u on during the high times and give u support during the tough times as well.

Reg coffee is 2.17 with tax. Lattes and **** are what cost $5+. The refill is a perk for using the card, essentially pre-paying. Refill is ~$0.53 otherwise. The refill is just while you stay there but my reg starbucks often gives me the refill even when I first walk in the door, knowingly.

Btw, the free drink for every 12 can be anything. 12 regs for 2.17 then a free $7 drink lol.
