I'm not sure what the $5 rake will do to the games at Venetian. I never noticed a difference in the games after the comps were cut in half in the few times I did play there. The only noticeable difference was lower comps. I seriously doubt the games will be better than games at some other places like PH and Mandalay Bay.

One thing on the difficult to get up in the morning. Maybe try getting a Fitbit to track your sleeping patterns.

Hate to say it knowing how much troop likes Starbucks but caffeine is a big reason for bad sleep patterns. I cut it off to almost zero and I wake up feeling so much better these days.

My son has ADHD bad (and I am not one prone to a quick diagnosis, nor one to recommend parenting via medication), but my son is on ADHD meds. We were joking with his ADHD doctor during one visit, and my son quipped about having a soda w/ caffeine, and both my wife and I laughed, and were like, you're crazy enough without the added caffeine (thank you very much)... His doctor stopped us, and asked why we thought caffeine would make him more crazy... With our perplexed look, the doctor explained that people with ADHD typically take stimulants to help them focus and allow their brain to calm down (odd as that may seem), and our doctor said that since our son is on stimulants to address his ADHD, caffeine would likely have a calming effect. Our doctor also explained that a lot of people with undiagnosed ADHD, often self-medicate with caffeine. Might explain why I can drink several cans of soda before bedtime and it won't keep me awake, lol... Not saying Troop is ADHD, but who knows, maybe I'm just... Squirrel!

That's actually a good point I have ADD and often drink coffee to focus and I can also drink a coffee and go to sleep... Sometimes I can get overstimulated on caffeine or like last week I was taking sudafed for a cold and stayed up all night. But for the most part caffeine helps me focus and doesn't keep me up too bad
