Does anyone know what camera Trooper uses now?

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to go to work someday here or there but to complain about going to work everyday on your public vlog which your boss can see is just plain stupid.

To make it worse, when you are given more hours (which dealers in this town would kill for) and the most profitable shifts for tips (Fri and Sat nights), instead of the midweek day shifts, it takes a good amount of arrogance to complain about going to work everyday and getting more shifts during the busiest time of the year for your industry.

I guess Trooper got exactly what he wanted now with the room closing. The job probably also gave him health insurance and access to the company cafeteria and maybe even free CET gym.

But I can see how that is way worse than sitting at Starbucks editing videos and watching YouTube as a hobby.

Sorry for the rant but it tilts me how some people are not grateful for their lives and take things for granted. I would definitely hire the Trooper but would stipulate that he never complain about his job on public social media.

I told him back in the day he had good hands. It wouldn't be that hard to deal BJ or dice. But it's a matter of if he wants to do that. He'll figure something out either way.

Trooper came to Vegas to play poker, not waste time at some day job.

^^^captain curmudgeon does it really bother you that much, what makes you so much better, why do you feel the need to crap on the vlog when its clearly just a hobby he enjoys?

Also complaining about a job isn't that big a deal public or not clearly its apart of the character he plays up on the vlog. Are you his father, is it your place to tell him how he should conduct himself? Who says he would want to be hired by or work with a ray of sunshine like you.

Do you even have the gall to put yourself out there in such a way, why are you even in the thread? Are you north of 55 because watching youtube is as common as forum posting. Why are you so miserable, finances, wife leave you, no friends? What's your deal? Sorry for the rant but I hate when people sht on other people when they are going through a down time he lost his job and your all too happy about it, misery loves company.

I use to think this way until I got honest with myself and realized its not the venue, or variance its just I wasn't any good mediocre at best and the times I won I didn't realize it was just because I had a good table with even dumber people.

Most of all I didn't realize the rake at 1-2 and below was equivalent to competing against a world class player each session. I realized the reason I was in such a hurry to sit in these games is because I wasn't disciplined enough to save a bank roll for 2-5 which in turn saves money with a lower stack to rake ratio.

which makes the large amount of terrible bellagio dealers even more annoying

Troop, don't get me started with the whole "dry heat" argument. I have been to some of the hottest places on earth, both dry and humid, and I can tell you that without a doubt humidity makes a whole lot of difference.

Mainly where you notice the difference is when you are out of the sun. If you are in the shade in a dry heat, you feel a lot better. In humid conditions, you get no relief by going in the shade or the sun going down. Wet heat is so much worse than dry heat.

I was born and raised in Florida and have spent a few years in Vegas.
90 in Florida is worse than 115 in vegas. And its been 95+ everyday in Florida lately.

In Florida you sweat big time. In vegas you actually sweat but it evaporates quickly so you don't really know your are sweating. That is why its so important to drink lots of water in Vegas.

On another note. Some of the parking garages, MB for sure, in the summer time, even at night are unbearably hot. I guess from all the cars and the outside temp.

Meh, I don't really care if it could be worse. Once it gets to 115 I could stand in the shade and I will still be sweating. And at night in Vegas it's hotter than a lot of places during the day. It's hot enough that I can definitely see why people complain even if it could be worse.

Congrats on making a comeback after running bad Trooper. Stick with it, it's about time you start running good again.

Since Vegas is in a desert it actually cools down quite well at night relative to it's daytime temperatures. Here in Dallas it actually stays slightly warmer at night than Vegas despite lower daytime temperatures.

My brother lives next door to a swamp on the gulf of mexico. It is hard to imagine there is a more miserable place on the planet earth.

I must admit that I got a little worried when he went to play a 2nd sessions. 2 winning sessions in one! Trooper getting that mojo back!! Where all dem haters at now?!?
07-30-2016 , 04:24 AM
dream crusher:

tbh, his last few sessions are warning indicators his game might need work. huge losses, followed up with smallish win sessions. winning <100bb in a vegas 1/2 cash game per session is pretty much like losing. he's vlogging, but "booking wins" is a losing players concept. it's all about the exploration of others at this level. same is true even at 2/5 (to a lesser extent)

Your car is hotter because of the greenhouse effect the glass of car makes it hotter than outside

I don't get why he switches casinos mid session. It doesnt accomplish much besides wasting more time.

Maybe he's trying to short stack

Maybe he's using it as a break? I know I play more alert and fresh when I first sit down.

Pokerkraut annoys me a lot because he keeps secretly recording people's faces. Trooper tries his best to keep the faces out of the videos in case some people don't want to be recorded.

Yeah.. He also goes up to random people on street and tells them to introduce his vlog.. Pretty funny. He got pissed when one hot street performer would not do it unless he gave her 20 bucks. He offered her $5 tho.. Then he got pissed and ranted about it.. Lolol
07-30-2016 , 09:41 AM
Trooper more subtle and has a much better camera. Both vlogs are good tho

I think both of them will find jobs soon. They both seem to have an excellent work ethic when it comes to being at the job on the time. Both are great dealers from the posts. The only time Trooper missed work when the Flu almost killed him.
