Wow at the video of them leaving. Sounds like they headed for the parking garage and their car wouldn't start. No wonder why cops were checking out every car that was leaving (I walked by a couple of hours later).

According to CNN, the cops currently believe they're not connected

Police say it's a male in his 50s and when they tried to talk to him, it was obvious he had mental issues, was delusional and didn't seem to have a motive.

Said he claimed he was seeing people and was not with it.

No kidding. Not to mention the getaway car that wouldn't start, that they parked in the garage. They gonna stop to pay the attendant in the pig mask like everything is cool? They should be just valeted it and tipped the guy extra to keep it running up front.

They have rolex stores at the mall with way less security. I mean you could smash and grab one of those and risk running into paul blart instead of Bellagio security.

Pawn stars is about to get some cheap rollies though

They were armed and sometimes nobody is at the pay machines. An employee there wouldn't stop them.

Also parking is free the first hour. So you just take a ticket when you go in and put it in the machine when you leave. If they could start the car they would have been out quickly.

Said in one of the articles that at least two of them changed into regular clothes before running out. So I think their brilliant escape plan was to blend into the crowd on the way out. Too bad that casinos tend to put cameras everywhere, if only they had known.

And I love the idea of them stopping to pay for parking on their way out.

This is mind numbing to me. Who thinks this is a good idea? Committing this scale of a robbery inside a casino on the Strip? The odds of getting away with something like this are slim to none. There has to be some thrill seeking involved in planning this sort of robbery out. Anyone in his right mind could come up with easier places to rob.

Yea they might as well have tried to rob the cage for all of their chips. All those roleys are traceable. Not like they can get anywhere close to retail price and just sell them on eBay. These guys probably didn't finish at the top of their class.

yeah something not right here. Its like they had some inside knowledge of something about that particular store.

how much would a couple rolex be worth? for the risk of this type of robbery on strip in vegas you'd probably want something worth a bit more.

If they were well prepared, which likely wasn't the case, at least mid six figures.

There are surveillance cam videos of the recent "trend" to drive cars into high-end stores, some even inside of malls. One shows a jewelry store where 3 guys with sledgehammers took less than 30 seconds to get stuff worth over a million out.

And if the car had started? It's not like he was immediately stopped while still in the store.

I thought I read somewhere it was a bag full. Could be worth as much as a couple hundred grand.
