Have fun, but pace yourself as Vegas is best enjoyed as a marathon not a sprint, but that is advice coming from an older man and you may have more energy.

Ive heard this from a lot of folks and seeing as how I'm going to be there a week, I'm going to approach it as such. It's my GF'S bday on tuesday, whats a good, moderately priced restaurant to take her to? Any good shopping experiences?

There's shopping everywhere but if you want to splurge and go to some cool places try the fourm shops at ceasers. Or the shops at bellagio

There's no such thing as GF's birthday-worthy good and moderately priced in Vegas. Go spend some time in the fine dining thread.
Take your GF to Bouchon (sp?) for breakfast. It's at the Venetian. Then spend the day walking around, drinking, napping , then get dinner at any of 1000 nice restaraunts.
