Re: Gamblers' Safe

I my be a degen for saying this but that is an awesome idea. Casinos will probably end up banning them if they get to popular though.

Did you sell it and its contents for pennies on the dollar one night in a fit of busto degeneracy?

It's somewhere in the garage, which looks like the govt. warehouse seen at the end of the movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Re: Gamblers' Safe

I guess admitting that you have a problem and finding a temporary solution is the first and second steps. What stops you from going home opening it up and then spewing the money the next night?

Also, what happens when you lose the tiny key? Is there any way to open it up?

I'm sure any casino would be willing to give you a screwdriver and/or a hammer to open that thing up.

Re: Gamblers' Safe

Report: Safe arrived in 2 days and works great. It holds $1,700 in Bens or about 7-8 standard casino chips (say $35,000 in chocolate/flags). If you drop the full $1,700 some of your Bens will get cut up a little from your having to jam them in.

useful item, i would say its more suited for someone who may not be able to leave a casino when winning, it could help some people bank a win for the night, and then go on to freeroll.

not everyone i know has good bankroll management, and i think this could be useful for a few semi degens

my example...

i take $1000 to play, i win $500 early on, and decide to move game/table/casino so i would put $500 in one of those safes...so worst ways, im coming home with $500.

tempted to get one for my next binge session in vegas, would make me be a bit more resposible with my bankroll...and not be a big risk taker as soon as i start winning (still struggling with bankroll management, and think every heater lasts forever)
