Heading to Vegas for my first attempt at a bracelet event. Will be playing the $1500 8-game 6-max. At the Cinci airport now waiting on my flight.

We are bringing the kids with us, so most poker activity will slow down after this weekend as we do family stuff, but hopefully I'll have 3 days of tournament action to report on and a picture of a shiny new bracelet at the end.

Well, not much to report so far, lots of sightseeing and great food (Bacchanal is amazing) and in my first poker action so far take a brutal beat when I 3 bet from BB with AA and get someone to open shove the flop with middle pair and they turn trips.

8-game starts in about 14 hours, so time to go to sleep and get some better luck for that
