After spending far too much time dealing with the hotel room, grabbed the shuttle over to the Rio and hopped in a 1-3 game.
Dumped off ~$100 calling two streets and then trying to bluff river on J

. I got the whole "will you show if I fold?" routine and just shouldn't have said anything. Seemed like he was leaning fold and after I told him I'd let him see, he tanked a bit more and then called. 44. Oh well. Had one river herocall with 2nd pair on a 997xx, ran into a boat, and that was that for the first buy in.

. I shove and he snap calls. He's sufficiently disgusted that I presume I had to not be good before the river, but he does not show. Double to ~$600.
Older fellow to my right got into a pot with a young lady who was playing ~1 hand/hr. She bet the flop, called his lead on the turn, and he then tried to bluff the river. Shocker, it didn't work. She shoved for $25 more into a $130 pot and he snap folded. He raises the very next hand from the HJ, and I call for $13 with T

. He insta-jams $81. I guess he never has value because why on Earth would he do this if he wanted to get paid. Plus the girl beat him and he's angry. Shrug. Call. He had an A high flush draw. I hold.
Last hand of note was a 5 way flop where I was on the button with A5off. Flop 467r. Preflop raiser continues for $25, and gets 2 calls. Turn is a 7, bringing a flush draw. Checks through. River is a 3, no flush. Original raiser bets $40, HJ calls, I call, and an EP limp-caller tanks for a while and eventually folds his 99 (?) face up like it was some hero-fold. I don't think I can ever get called here by worse, so while I'm very confident I'll win, not sure there's much point to a raise. The original raiser turns over TT, HJ, mucks.
Don't feel like I played well at all (especially the KJ hand), so not terribly happy with the day. That said, result was OK. In for 600, out for 1107, 7 hours later. Take off the $55 I dumped into a slot machine getting the TR badge before walking over from the Rio, and it's still a profitable day. (and Negreanu is chip leading the 50k for a little potential bonus). Details a little light today (pots not exact, mostly) because I was basically out of phone juice and conserving so I could Uber home without paying the extortionists in the hallways for a charger. Think I'll head off strip for lunch tomorrow and pick up one of those battery packs (to add to the collection I have at home lol) so that doesn't happen again.
