Hi there, I'm turning 21 in less than 2 weeks and I'm going to be visiting Vegas with 4 close friends. I want to know if you guys have any recommendations, thanks.

Bring twice as much money as you think you will need.
If you are drinking heavily stay out of the pits.
Vegas gets crazy. Keep your wits and keep your head screwed on tight.

I wish I could! But like I said earlier, these idiots saw a "good deal" on flight and hotel (which is debatable, $470 CND for flight and 3 nights) and just bought tickets for everyone right away.

My mtt play is a lot stronger than my cash game although I can't say I have too many problems at $1/2 so I'm really looking to play at least a couple tourneys. How many players can usually be expected in those $120/$140 1pm/7pm tourneys in places like Aria or Venetian?

If you're given a choice between the Paradise Tower or the Casino Tower go Paradise the rooms are waaaayy nicer. Also there is a free shuttle that'll take you from HR to the strip that runs hourly. Only goes til 5pm tho.

I'd suggest you and your friends go to Planet Hollywood. It's the closest strip Casino to Hard Rock and its a good place to eat, drink, play poker, and party.

Leaving tomorrow around noon, one last minute question, would it be better to exchange my CAD to USD here in Canada or at the casinos in Vegas? The rate I can get here is 1.364:1 when buying USD, can someone provide a comparison with current Vegas rates, I would really appreciate it

also with the dollar at 1.36 make sure to bring lube

I'm not sure you're allowed to bring lube on a plane, so this will be even more painful.

Dude you're 21 only thing you should be worried about finding in Vegas is hookers and blow. Plus the good news is staying at the Hard Rock you won't have to go far to find either one
