So I've never been to a strip club before, but wanna check one out cuz, hey, I'll be in Vegas, so what the hell! I'm going with my boyfriend and was hoping you could give me some recommendations for some couples-friendly strip clubs (we're in our late twenties). Also, what's the best way to get there from the Strip? I've read to call the club and request a limo to pick us up, but is this only for VIPs or big parties (it's just going to be the 2 of us, and we're staying at the Aria)? Is there usually a charge for this, and how much should we tip? Is there often a cover charge? Would we then take a cab back to the Strip?

And this is embarrassing, but I really don't know what it's going to be like cuz I've never been to a strip club ever, so can someone walk me through this, so I know what to expect? Do we just buy drinks (I've read that some clubs don't even serve alcohol?!) and sit and watch the dancers, or will they try to separate us to get individual lap dances in another room, or will we stay together to get a lap dance from one girl, or what? Is there a difference between a table dance and a lap dance, and do we just ask for it? Also, how much should we be tipping the dancers for lap dances and for just watching in the general area (I don't even know how it works... Do I really slide bills into her thong, like in the movies?)? What should we wear??

Anyways, I'll defer to others about the best strip clubs to go nowadays and how they're handling transport as it's been a few years since I've gone to a strip club. About your other questions, since obv. your bf has never ever been to a strip club either and plead ignorance about such things when you asked him, I'll try to help.

1. yes there typically is a cover charge and some clubs have a minimum drink purchase amount (like 2 drinks).
2. You can either get a table as suggested above or look around for "free" seating. the dancers will come up to you continuously, flirt and try to get you to purchase a lap dance or something more (like a trip to the champagne room in the back). There is no tipping the dancers, you just pay for what the lap dance costs. Make sure this amount is clear before the dance is performed. Politely refuse if you are not interested and the dancer will move along.
3. yes you slide bills into the thongs of the performers on the center stage.
4. only take cash with you and not a cent more than you want to spend for the evening. Leave the debit/credit card in the hotel room, it can only lead to bad things if you take it with you and use it.

Do not use a credit card if its your first time. People end up with huge charges at the end of the night not realising the time they were spending with dancers, was racking up charges. Strip club experiences are mostly considered a gross place by normal chicks.

Every girl I have ever been to a strip club with has loved it. Mostly because the dancers give a ton of attention to girls in the group and seem to be super respectful to couples.

Bring only cash you want to spend (it's fun and can be costly) and just be cool about it and I promise you will have a great time. The girls in Vegas are absolutely stunning and the clubs are really, really nice.

Have a max amount you want to spend, say $100. Don't spend any more than that, they are in business to make money and they are good at separating people from their cash.

Don't be afraid to tell them (dancers) it's your first time in a strip club and you are not sure/don't know/don't want what ever they are offering. If the girl offering the table dance is not to your liking just say '...not just yet...'

Two drinks and one or two table dances is plenty. If you find you are into it, then go crazy but as the previous posts said, don't give them your credit card and don't take a lot of money.

Beers and drinks typically cost $9-$15. Definitely take the clubs limo so you can get free admission.

You can also throw tips on the stage to a girl or if you are sitting around the stage just put the dollar bills in front of you on the stage, you don't have to put the money in the girls G-string or rub it on her tits if you don't feel comfortable doing that.

Like everyone has said, don't use the ATM at a strip club, they charge ridiculous fees and crafty girls can steal your pin and lift your card.

Wear whatever you want, there really isn't a dress code except that you have to be wearing clothes.

Do not take pictures in a strip club! If security see's you doing it they will ask you to delete the pics and then throw you out.
Take a cab back to Aria, there will be tons of them lined up outside whichever strip club you go to.

Stick with a popular place like The Rhino, Sapphire, Treasures etc.

My wife and I always go to a strip club (or two) when we are in Vegas. We like clubbing back home but when it's just the two of you in Vegas a strip club is a lot more fun and enjoyable.

Always take the free limo. If you take a cab you have to pay cover (often about $40 each). It's free if you take the limo. Just tip the driver $20 and as someone else mentioned tip the host $20 to get you a table.

Once you sit down, order some drinks and just relax and enjoy the view. Some of the strippers in the top clubs in Vegas are truly gorgeous and even females can appreciate the looks. But also note that the lights are usually pretty dim so their looks can be quite deceiving. I remember we met a gorgeous hispanic stripper who was really friendly with us and gave us her Facebook name. Next day we looked her up and it was a "do not want" (insert gif).

But I digress - most of them look great in the dim light.

Find one who is your type and get a dance from her ($20 a song). It will be right at your table. My wife and I usually like to get dances at the same time. If they are friendly and hot we often switch dancers after the song.

I think Spearmint still has the prettiest girls and nicest atmosphere so that's what I'd recommend.

I've been to strip clubs with women who hadn't been before. It's not a big deal for them EXCEPT for one thing. They are universally shocked at what a "dance" is. They all just assumed it's pole dancing like they saw in the movies. But a dance really entails the stripper doing some up close teasing of the guy at first, then turning around and rubbing her (covered by a thong) ass up and down the guy's (covered by pants) lap, essentially simulated sex. If you aren't prepared for that it can be quite a shock.
