Does anyone know if any of the casinos off of strip still offer face-up blackjack?

I do a table games survey 3 or 4 times a year. My last Red Rock survey was on Dec 25, 2014. Red Rock did not have that game at the time. Is it a new install?

If Red Rock has it now, it is almost certainly the only one in town. Riviera had it until 2013. It was the last one AFAIK.

If you are coming from California, Whiskey Pete's and Primm Valley Resort both have it just inside state line in NV off I-15. You are more likely to find the table open at Primm Valley.

Face Up Blackjack is a variant where both dealer cards are dealt up. In exchange for this, the house wins all ties, except on blackjack. Blackjack pays even money and often double down is only allowed on 9, 10, and 11 and not after splitting.

Player's cards are typically face up in shoe games, face down in DD and SD games.

slightly OT, but wasn't Face Up Blackjack a Bob Stupak creation at Vegas World? I never played it but I seem to remember it as being a promotion to stay there from like the early 1990s.

If you mean Double Exposure Blackjack, it's not popular but it's around. Wizard of Odds has a listing of places with their rule variants and basic strategy for the game.
