I'm undecided as to whether or not 2 weekends would be better or worse, not that it matters now.

Just wondering if anyone here is going to take part in EDC or any of the EDM events that weekend. it's mine and my gf birthday weekend, our first time going to Vegas strictly to party for 5 days straight. Consists of before, during, and after EDC with no Poker this time around unfortunately, just EDM bliss.

Booked a timeshare at Worldmark by Wyndham Tropicana 6/18-6/23, anyone have details/reviews on that? Will be our first time timesharing so anythings helpful

We will have our own car, so no rentals are needed

Me: 23 going on 24 winning live 1/3 and online at 50NL college student.
Not sure if I'll TR, but we'll see.

EDC 3 days June 20-22 w/RIO shuttle

Anymore suggestions from 6/18-6/23?

Since LVL is filled from high rollers to the few -EV at life, addressing budget is appropriate. Our budget is okay, but on the tighter side in terms of LV. We're interested in all the worthy affordable eats and hash house type on and off strip and a nice bday dinner for my gf in the $100 range if anyone can help with that. Wish i could take her to a show, but EDC will take up most of our nights except Monday the 23rd, 6/18, 6/19.

Any EDC protips/LV recommendations greatly appreciated!

Definitely look into bassrush massive for 18 and 19th. It's pretty cheap in comparison to edc and has had good line ups. As for edc tips beware taxi line going home on first night it is typically the worst, maybe pool in with other 2p2ers or edc goers to get a limo or some sort of arranged transportation. Obviously, if you have a friend to swoop your group or a dd thats the nuts. And definitely pray to the wind god or the weather deity of your liking because edc has gotten shut down due to weather in the past.

Hey orionfett, thanks for the tip on the taxi line. I heard horrible stories about it from my friends so we snapped on shuttle passes from/to the Rio, considering that it's away from all the traffic hell of the strip that weekend. Friends mentioned there's no line there last year.

Besides shuttle passes, do you really recommend driving there since you mention its the nuts? Again, I just don't wanna get stuck in all that traffic coming in/out for sure. It seemed like shuttle would be faster since they have their own route.

I've only heard good things about bassrush. It's a great option, but a we're 3.5 days booked with edm events. I'll keep that in mind.

My parents have a time share where you are staying, and they're super nice. I'll be out there checking out all the weirdo women, but not taking part in EDC

If anyone is down for getting a limo back each night I'll be down for that. Sure it wouldn't be too much. I'll be there till the end each night.

I missed last year due to family obligations but went the two years before. I haven't done shuttles before but remember the lines to board them being pretty bad. MY friend im going with got shuttle passes for us so if the lines turn out to not be worth it i might be down to drop on a limo.

Anyone know of anyone w/ tickets not going on Fri and/or Sat night (or someone selling the full tickets)? Never been before but will be in Vegas so figure I should try it, as of now will probably Stubhub/Craigslist the week of if can't find anything here or through friends.

Pick ur fav few djs and watch them in the clubs during that weekend, fk standing in 115 degree heat with millions of people bunched together and driving in huge traffic there and back

Who's going to EDC this year? I'm getting in to town the Wed before and staying for 10 days. Got 3 15 passenger vans lined up to go back and forth all weekend. If anyone wants to come with us PM me.

besides EDC we're confirmed for wet republic on the 23rd. Not sure what else we plan on doing.Bassrush seems to be a popular pre edc event but I feel 3.5days of edm is enough lol.

It is kinda ****ty in 100+ degree weather, but this is my last hurrah for a huge edm rave.2010 EDC was my first and this will most likely be my last.I guess I'll just have to cool off at wet republic on Monday.

The line for shuttle passes have actually changed this year. now you're limited to choosing a specific hotel. If the shuttle situation gets too crazy, all of us 2p2ers could link up for a limo. They say its improved by the year so let's hope for that.

My friends and I provide rides to and from the speedway to people that don't have shuttle passes or don't want to spend $100 each way on a cab ride.

I usually buy a ticket and go in to EDC on Sunday night for a few hours.

Lots of the big DJ's on Thursday night are already $100+ per head. Armin at $130 and Hardwell at $170(service included). However Avicii at XS is going for only $60 for men and half that for women. Dash berlin is $30 per person at Boulevard Pool in the Cosmo. Bassrush for $33.

I've been to Marquee but can anyone comment on Boulevard Pool at the Cosmo? Berlin's event is referenced as an EDM Biz convention after party. Totally confused on what his event is going to be like. Is it club-like? a networking mixer? both?

Boulevard Pool is Cosmo's day pool. The concerts here are usually pretty tame, and being that this is an all ages show, I assume it will follow this trend.
