What card level are you? Risk probably isn't worth reward, sure you can use it to skip some lines but as noted above for anything of value they ID you. There have also been people who have in the past booked comp rooms and sold them etc... CET does not appreciate this and you potentially risk having your own card revoked or banned from their properties if abusing their system or using someone else's card/benefits. YMMV.

They even ask to see ID when you use the Diamond line at Starbucks

So I played enough video poker to get 88tc lol. I split it up over 3 casinos so I should be getting 750 bonus but that's not why I posted. My $120 loss has apparently set me up with comps for the rest of the year. I scheduled 4 trips of 4 days each just in case it's a fluke but pretty damn generous.

I'm Diamond and have been to Vegas three weeks a year for the last several years, and I have no comps for any night for any property.

That's awesome, congrats. If anyone hacks CET's algo and figures out how they issue comps, they're my hero.

I'm completely expecting to see zero offers after my next visit of only poker. I'm not sure if they would cancel future reservations, but I wouldn't be surprised.

You didn't tell us the whole story in your 1st post. How many hours of poker did you play at CET properties on your last trip?

If you're averaging over 8 hour sessions every time you show up, then CET will value your business as you are paying them a significant amount of rake in each one of those 8+ hour days.

However, the 88tc worth of video poker only carries an expected loss of about $20. That's not much to them. If it did factor into your comps at all, it is maybe because it showed them that you aren't 100% exclusively a poker player. This is where the haziness of CET's program comes in...

I did not play any poker or table games on my most recent trip. I was not saying at a caesars property and my machine play was not even long enough to get drink service anywhere. I did have a diamond card to start thorough founders, but I think I just got lucky with the offers.

Ok, so now you're contradicting your earlier post. Please allow me to be the 1st to call BS on your story and your entire account. Just a troll here folks, move along, no magic NYE comps from VP, nothing to see here...

I'm sorry you feel that way. My original post refers to the resort fees for my 3 night trip for Cinco de Mayo that I had booked BEFORE getting diamond.. saving 90$ in resort fees. I stayed at Mandalay 3/23-3/26, and have not been to Las Vegas since 2008. I'm not sure why I would waste my time trolling on a forum I've been lurking on for years. Nonetheless I'm not sure why I let this bother me but I'm honestly just here to share my experience after taking as much as I could from this thread.

Both of these posts tell nothing about why you may or may not have comps. It's your play that matters. Comps are based on ADT not your tier card - how do people who read these threads not understand this yet?

I thought I remembered that I posted pretty much the exact same thing AND explained the reasons why I assume I get no Vegas comps anymore a couple weeks ago in this thread. But it turns out I posted this in the "Diamond Challenge" thread. :P

Hammond usually has those rules at 50. Sad day when that's considered a good game.

I just booked Rio (June 1 to June 9) Paying around 470. I think Tax and resorts fees are about $350.I am platinum. You think I can still get Diamond status and be benificial via Founders Club Membership ?
Thx

Anytime you redeem your reward credits, they will ask to see your ID to make sure you didn't find someone else's card. People leave cards in machines ALL THE TIME so if you could spend the reward credits anywhere, it would be too easy to steal reward credits which are just like cash within CET properties.

The policy makes perfect sense.

Yes, 2 months should me more than enough time. Website says it takes 4-6 weeks I believe but it usually happens quicker than that. If you do it today, you have 2 months to get it and that should be enough based on anecdotal data I have heard.

You will get $100 towards a meal on properties as well and 2 free show tickets. Also use of the spa which is decent at Rio. Their customer service at the spa is excellent. The spa workers give you oranges and drinks, spray eucalyptus in the stream room often, and when you get out of the shower and head to your locker to change, they give you a warm towel to stand on with baby powder (very nice touch.) Toss them a few bucks and it's definitely work it for the experience you get. Amazing after a workout and a nice reward for pushing yourself a bit extra.

PM me if you need a referral code for the card. (If putting this last line in is against forum rules, mods let me know and I will refrain from doing so in the future and will delete this one. Cheers!)

Sigh, it IS against the rules and are gonna be pissed when they see this went down. They're just gonna end up banning all discussion of Founders altogether since people keep trying to pimp their referrals (you're hardly the first but the others get squashed in time).
