FYI I was at Caesar's book last september for the opening weekend of NFL and the bartender at the bar directly behind the book would not give me a bottle of water when i showed him my diamond card.

This. I also was 2nd in the Platinum line at a buffet in Vegas last month and there were probably 40 people in the regular line.

So I reset my password just to thank you guys for all of the helpful info here. I recently signed up for the card for founders that I learned about on here. It took about 2 weeks for the diamond status upgrade. If anyone is thinking about signing up, make sure to search thoroughly and find the best deal. The girl I spoke with tried to play hardball but eventually accepted an "expired" code. Paying for 2 years at once would be a gamble IMO as there is a lot of speculation of CET/Founders partnership ending every year. I look forward to taking full advantage of the diamond status this weekend and will report back with any changes.

Report back with what you did with your new Diamond card. Also, what deal did you end up getting from them?

I got $495 for one year and the $95 sign-up fee waived by using a code. Probably not the cheapest, but just visiting once I'll make it up in resort fees, parking fees on strip and the $100 dinner + showtickets.

I paid $395 with waived initiation fee at the beginning of Feb. I had been in discussions with them in January, but wanted to make sure diamond was included.

Currently watching NCAA tournament in PH diamond lounge and a few free drinks in. If you are thinking about it, get diamond it's worth it. Already saved $90 in resort fees, $100 dinner voucher and plenty of free drinks. Hopefully Penn and Teller tomorrow, and I'll try to check out the Linq spa with the 1/2 off for diamond. Will follow up

I thought all the spas except Caesars were free for Diamond, though I've never tried to use it.

The free show benefit is FAR inferior to what it used to be. Penn & Teller is really the only option I would even consider. I can't believe they got rid of the free High Roller tickets. Those things were gold for Tinder dates.

So is PH diamond lounge.

Took me about 5 times going there before I discovered the couches and huge tv in the back

Sorry, too many free drinks at the lounges and I missed out at the spa. I did confirm that they no longer have happy hour at 3535 in the linq. Headed back for Canelo fight in May so I'll try again.

So I found a Seven Star card left in a machine while in Vegas last week and kept it. Anything useful by having it, other than being able to show it to skip a cage line or a taxi line?

PH diamond lounge back room with the huge TV wasvery nice. Had a great time sitting on those couches losing every bet I placed. Waitstaff came around regularly and no problems bringing me 2 drinks at a time with a dollar tip. Plenty of cheap people in there were not tipping but still getting great service just the same. Hot food inclued deep fried wings and some sort of dumpling I think. Plenty of raw veggies chips and dips all of the time though. When you leave ask for your drink or two to go

Sounds like what the Paris one had. I loved those fried mini-dumplings, ate 'em by the dozen. I did notice when I gave a server a buck for bringing me a drink she had a surprised but grateful look on her face. Maybe Diamond Lounges are the only place in Vegas a tip is not expected?

maybe people were tipping at the end like a restaurant? That's what I do and what I see most of the time - I think I would notice and think it was odd if I saw someone tipping by the drink 🤷*♂️

I haven't seen it mentioned many places but there are also VIP lounges inside most if not all MGM casinos near the lobby. I gusss it's technically VIP check in but you can waltz in and get as many free sodas waters or beer from the fridges. They don't need your players card so it's a good pit stop.

Probably not mentioned since thread is focused on CET and not MGM.

Most MGM lounges are key access/key shown. For example Aria has 2 of these lounges, Tower is key coded access for corner suites and above and Sky has a security guard. Room key cards that have access to these lounges do not look the same as guests in deluxe rooms.

You're right, sorry if this is the wrong place for that. My personal experience with those MGM lounges were in Mandalay and Mirage, in the main lobby behind doors marked private but no security guards or key cards needed. I simply asked an employee where they were at and they led me right to them.

Anyone ever sell their 7star companion card?

I know it has more value in AC than Vegas but someone in Hammond once told me they bought one for $1000
