Do you get 5x tier credits for using the total rewards Visa at total rewards properties or is it just 5x rewards credits?

You never get any tier credits for using the TR Visa, just reward credits. Some spending at CET properties will earn tier credits regardless of what you pay with, but the TR Visa makes no difference for this.

I got bored and made a Monte Carlo model and ran it 100 times, you were definitely more on the money than I was. In my 100 simulations the worst drawdown was $34.5k (assumptions = $500 on pass line, 1600 rolls to get to Diamond). In 5% of my simulations there was at least a $24k drawdown.

FWIW the better lost an average of $1950 in my simulations (running above expectation but within margin of error), came out ahead 42% of the time, and the best outcome was +$21.5k.

The reason my number may seem high is that when I played a lot (in my early years I played only blackjack and craps) my normal buy-in was 30 bets. I played $3 bets and bought in for $100. I certainly went bust of the buy-in from time to time. With $500 bets that's a $15k buy-in. I didn't just make line bets though, I always took odds, made come bets, and place bets. If you're getting rated on time spent at the table, then it makes more sense making line bets only. Since you're not getting credit for making odds bets there's no need to make them. The bad part is the pit boss may notice this and downgrade your tc rate, plus you might not find out until the next day. The other bad part about pit play is that different pit bosses may rate you differently.

fisherfolk- are you thinking of the "VIP" pass from spending $10k on the total rewards Visa credit card, because that doesn't get you all the diamond perks
i was looking at founderscard but im trying to find out if u get the same exact perks.. like comp rooms? and when u gamble can u play with the card and gain tiers and rewards?

founders just gets you upgraded to Diamond and the perks that come with that. Comp rooms come from your gambling and won't be helped by FC or being Diamond. You won't have to pay resort fees though as a Diamond, which is the main reason I do it. You'll still gamble with your Total Rewards card for tiers and rewards.

Edit: this tells you what you get for Diamond, pretty much any other benefits not listed come from your gambling:

Is it bonus 5000 reward credits or tier credits? I suspect the former.

Actually it says 10000 Reward Credit

What is the difference . If this is worth anything ?

It's $100 you can spend at CET properties.

Rewards credits don't do anything towards tier status.

I can confirm that Harrah's Cherokee in NC has VP machines (Deuces Wild) that payout 99.7% and award 1 TC/$10. Only problem is the variance on DW is extraordinary, and you have to bet $25/hand. I got 1000 TCs in like 30 minutes but lost $1800.

that's one of the best machines to make 7stars.
surprised you got a seat.
those 4 machines are usually occupied 24/7.

dw variance isn't that much higher than Jacks or Better.
extra ordinary is double double bonus.
SUPER extra ordinary variance is Triple double bonus.

1k tc is $10k coin-in.
at $25/spin, you only played 400 hands.
you can get huge variance with any game with that small sample size.

and why did you stop at 1k tc?
if lucky enough to get a seat, play it for 5k tc to max out your tc bonus and get the comp offers rolling

I ran out of money!

There are six of these machines in the high limit room. They really didnt seem to be crowded at all.

Was it $5 a credit or multi-line? Maybe he's talking about some $1 machines out on the floor.

$5/credit single line according to vpfree.

It's funny how the same machines in the high limit room at Cherokee are often packed, while the equivalent ones out on the main floor are untouched. I guess people just like to feel baller playing $1 VP. Fine by me; I like the non-smoking ones better anyway.

I got 7Star through those the past 2 years, but the variance is sick... I was down about $12K at one point before i lucked into a royal.

Losing 12k on 500k coin-in doesn't sound too bad...it's basically the expectation of the machine if you don't hit any royals. I was down about 2k on 10k coin-in.

I was playing in the high limit room and no one else was playing any machine in my row while I was there. I'm surprised there would be that much demand for $25/hand VP in rural North Carolina.

Took a couple of extra days but Diamond through FC confirmed for another year (I was one of those who tried to get verification before renewing because my anniversary date is sometime in Feb).

good to hear. hoping to get it through 1/2019 as my 2 yr membership is up 4/2018. If I do this will probably be the best $500 I have ever spent.

If you cancel your membership they notify CET and you lose Diamond.

Sadly not in Las Vegas, but are there TR properties that offer 3:2, DAS, DA, S17 at $100 min or less? Anyone have experience with DIAD playing BJ?

Correct, you can't freeroll an extra year out of it unfortunately.

i was spreading 25-200 in vegas , usually 50 the first hand off the top if a fresh deal and was getting 40-150 tc per hour depending on what the pit boss had my average bet at

getting 5000 tc in a day from purely blackjack is really risky at the 100 level but if you're gonna try it start shortly after 6am and check your progress throughout the day

doing 2500 a day for 2 days seems a lot more realistic
