Is the main concern about leaving a credit card at check in that the casino will revoke the comp and charge for the room?

I ask because I get confused when people complain about leaving a credit card on file. I thought it was pretty standard to leave a CC when you stay in a hotel. Don't they need to protect themselves just in case you get drunk and break the tv and a huge mirror?

Mrducks, thats what i thought, but i checked into a comped room today at Rio, resort fee and room comped so 0 charge, they said I did not need to leave a cc. of course I only had the room for about 30 mins before i checked out, lol. only way to redeem the offer and the get hte $60 freeplay was to book a room.

Damm! The only free play I ever get offered is for 7 bucks on slots at an Indian casino out in BFE. It would cost me 20 bucks in gas and 6 hours of driving to redeem it.

What kind of free play was it? Slots?

About the resort fees, it says on Caesars website:

"Where applicable. Resort Fees are not automatically assessed for Diamond or Seven Stars members, but such packages may be purchased upon request with Reservations or Front Desk Agent. The amenities covered by resort fees will vary by location. Please ask Reservations or Front Desk for more details."

Does this mean that if I don't pay the resort fee (if I would be a diamond member), I wouldn't be able to use the "free" Internet and gym facilities because they are part of the resort fee which I'm not paying, or do I not understand correctly what they are trying to say?

It used to be that way, but then they changed it so that you do get all that stuff, about a year ago maybe. So either they never updated the website to reflect that, or they changed their policy back.

Nice! I didn't know that. Hopefully they didn't change back, lol.

vp2free.com
videopoker.com

Download an app e.g. pocket video poker and practice at home, the app will coach you. Try double double bonus.

Make sure you are picking a machine with the best balance for you between rake and earning comps.

Anyone going for Diamond this year might want to take advantage of this promotion to pad their Tier Credits.

I got all nine Vegas badges over two days last week. Played poker at four properties (1.5 hours at each except Caesars to get 25 TCs) and VP at the other five ($250 coin in each).

You don't have to stay at the hotel + earn 25 TC to earn a badge?

No hotel stay is necessary to earn badges.

If only the next 20-27 resorts were as easy to hit as the 9 in Vegas... Could be diamond with a few hours of 1/2nl and less than $7,500 coin in VP

You don't really get much benefit until you go over 18, and you can't do that from Vegas without some serious travel. As in, not-worth-it travel.

No stay required, just have to earn 25 TC

Yeah, I can pretty easily hit 17 (counting the 5 Northeast properties and the two in NC within driving distance from me). But the double reward beyond 18 has me contemplating a trip to Reno or some Midwest roadtrip over spring break I would never otherwise undertake. So a pretty effective promotion in that sense on the part of Caesars.

Vegas would be a more efficient trip for you than Reno. Only 3 properties up there. 9 in Vegas, plus 1 in Laughlin.

I already got the nine in Vegas, and I got Harrah's New Orleans last weekend when I was in town for a conference. Those plus Philly, Baltimore, 3 in AC, and 2 in NC get me to 17.

you see that all the time, that's a Canadian law thing. Giveaways have to require some test of skill. So they ask you something like what is 2+2 before they can give you a prize

Does simply spending $25 at a participating restaurant/shop on one of the properties get you the 25 tier credits required to get the bonus for said property?

So, for the guy who said he hit all 9 properties on the strip in Las Vegas , how did you get your tier credits?

It would seem that sitting at a poker table for 2 hours would be easiest and cost the least amount of $$$ (or simply 1 hour at Caesars since you get 34 tier credits/hour)

But for the properties without poker rooms, would the restaurant thing work???
