It does sound like it has to do with your tier. I am Diamond and got 1000. I know of several 7-star players who got 10,000.

Though I don't understand the rationale for not crediting it until July!?

Probably a quarterly accounting thing.

how are you guys getting the emails? I'm a platinum but no email.

So, I am staying at the Rio for 11 days during the WSOP. That is 28 X 11 = $308 in resort fees. The Hotel Tonight app, which I use, gets $50 off your first booking.

So, $358 in savings and the membership is $395/year. (Plus, I think you get $100 off CET restaurants. Is that correct?)

What other perks does the card offer? I am not sure I want to give up the internet.

Will I be able to get diamond status at CET before the WSOP if I sign up for the Founders Card right now?

One last question -- what about signing up for the CET Total Rewards visa. Isn't that a cheaper option that also gets you to Diamond status?

Contemplating signing up for the FC. I definitely am not going to grind slots to reach diamond.

I'm presuming you checked your spam? If so, I would stop by the Total Rewards and make sure your email is up to date and, see if you got the tier credit bonus.

Get a real cell phone and tether it .the connection will be way better than the **** the Rio has anyway.

you can go to fc website to see all it offers,ATT 15% discount , $100 yearly dinner voucher, and Diamond lounge were some that I liked
Should be okay getting diamond by wsop, i got in 2 weeks.
The Visa card gives you platinum, and you pay resort fees with platinum.
Let me know if you would like a referral, apparently that helps me in some way also.

How much is the founders club card? Is it an annual fee? Can anyone confirm that you do get the $100 dining credit if you get diamond through the founders club card?

Have you not read the thread? Not even the whole thing, but just the past few weeks worth? All of your questions have been answered many times.

I checked out the Founders Card and other than the Diamond level at CET, there isn't much other stuff. You get Gold at Hilton (just for a year) and then 15%off AT&T but I'm with Verizon so it's pretty much just CET.

For $400 a year plus $100 sign up fee, it makes sense for someone living close to CET properties, especially in Vegas. Having access to the gym and spa plus the lounges everyday gives good value but having resort fees waived pushes this over the edge (in favor).

If you stay 20 nights at $25/night resort fee, you already cover the cost of the card! And with the cheap rates for Flamingo/Bally's/Harrah's that are online, the resort fee ends up being equal to the room cost.

I might get this card when I get back into town since I lost my Diamond since I've been away from Vegas.

Plus the $100 dining credit is an extra bonus that covers the sign up fee.

So $500 minus $100 dining credit makes it $400 divided by 12 month makes it $33/month for no resort fees, free lounges, and free gym/spas. Nice deal!

Not to be pedantic, but resort fee is $28 per night after tax, not $25, so 18 nights will more than cover the $500.

Feel free to be pedantic, as long as you are supporting what I'm saying!

I think once you start talking to one of their agents you can get the price down a little too. I got it for 295 a year, but I had to pay for 2 years up front, plus the initiation. I think right now though, you can get 1 year for 395 with the initiation fee waived. Or if they don't waive the initiation fee they're offering a $100 Visa card or somesuch.

You said you might get it when you get back in town, keep in mind it takes a couple of weeks after signing up to get the diamond status in effect.

It can also take a lot longer, gf signed up over a month ago, she just got upgraded today after a couple of calls to FC.

Thank for the heads up. Since the Diamond status is the only thing I'll be getting the card for, I'll be calling them everyday until I get it.

I have also heard people going to a CET rewards desk and showing the FC and getting it pretty quickly.

How much did your GF pay for it all in?

We paid the 95 and 395. We went to the tr desk and they said to call FC, she doesn't have the actual FC card yet

Also don't know if this made a difference or not but she didn't have a referral code from anyone, she received an email from FC

thanks everyone for the posts in this thread. I took the plunge and signed up for the FC.

FWIW, i dont find many of the other FC benefits to be really of use to me. some of them are for car rental perks at hertz, but require prior membership or an annual fee. in addition, there's a perk to auto upgrade to hilton gold, but i dont see any real benefit to being hilton gold except maybe a free bottle of water when getting bent at hilton since you have to book direct.

This FC card us just spam. I've deleted a half dozen posts in the past few weeks with people trying to commercially gain from this card. I'm done giving warnings to spammers. I hate banning people and hate even more censoring the discussion of the topic but we are getting close to that point.

For those who got the FC card but didn't receive their Diamond upgrade by the time they got to the casino/hotel, what did you do? I'm flying out here Saturday and am still Platinum.
