Nice! I was rockin' it to an mp3 shuffle sesh yesterday that included Helios Creed, Flaming Lips, Butthole Surfers, various Steve Albini bands (Big Black, Rapeman, etc.), and more. Not sure what's on tap for tuesday. I'm thinking it might be 70's rock.

So today is mostly a work day, but I took time to share an excellent Thai lunch with a friend, at Thai Cuisine at Nellis and E. Bonanza...cheap and very good. We shared tom kah chicken soup and pad gra prow. Yummy.

It's funny you should say that; someone came up to him after the end of the lasy level and had him autograph some chips. I thought that was an odd thing.

Today is another work day, so not much to report. I did play a Bally's 1-2 sesh last night and made $800 in a pretty good game.

Finished up a surprisingly productive day working, and am now waiting for my second Thai meal in 2 days, this time at Sea in Bally's. I have a sinking feeling that it will not be as good as Thai Cuisine was, but it will make up for it by being thrice the price.

Will play some 1/2 after just to relax. More later.

I must be psychic. The tom kha soup was way too creamy and thick, and the flavor was very one-dimensional...just a bowl of cream with chicken in it. Not on the same planet as Thai Cuisine.

Also, at TC the soup was $12 and would have easily fed 5 people if it were being eaten as an appetizer. Here the single person serving is $15 I think.

Then came the pad kee mao...what a turn-around. Easily the best I've ever had. It's very difficult to get the soft texture right without making the whole dish into a pile of mush, and this was perfect. Great flavors, just the right amount of spicy. Excellent.

Never mind...went to Marylin's in the Tuscany. It's a good place to get a decent meal without paying $57 a plate.
