I hear Blink 182 is coming out with their own line of grape flavored vodka.

I was supposed to meet a friend at "China Poblano" at Cosmo which is on the 2nd floor.
I get to 2nd floor and walk by something that says "Chinese food " or some****, I continue walking and figure I had walked by it. I turn back and see some guy with a plastic bag that said "China poblano"
I ask him and he tells me its the restaurant I just walked by.
I guess that's another small thing of things? Why not put a sign that clearly states the name of the restaurant.

I had the same experience with Jaleo. But great food. But loud.

I visited the Cosmo again one night late in WSOP, and it still sucked. We couldnt get anywhere because the casino was full of wave after wave of hot girls barely dressed in tight fitting clothing. While waiting in line at the club I was surrounded by so many 20 something year old girls that I think I started a sympathetic menstrual cycle. I finally got tired of girls flirting with my wife and left, as she also did, several hours later.

Have stayed at both Aria and Vdara before and was thinking about trying out Cosmo.

This thread literally got me to rebook my hotel.

I used the Valet at the Suncoast at $39 a night and was offered help with my bags. This is just standard and not to offer it is crap.

While the cosmo had some issues having our room ready on time, they were more then happy to give us $400 complimentary booze and food while we waited an extra hour. This allowed me to ignore any shortcomings they may have had thereafter.

Smart move on their part.

Depends on what you like, but the awesomeness of the wraparound suites outweigh any negatives for me.

I have personally never received bad service at the Cosmo.

Whats the use of $400 in free booze if none of it is grape vodka.

I was just staying at the Cosmo a few days ago and it still sucks service wise. I needed an extra bed brought to the room, so I called and this Filipino guy brought it up, rough attitude, no hello, threw my blankets and pillows around like he was setting up the bed for me to pound his wife. Right after he set it up he bee lines straight for the door and doesn't say good night, all while I was about to hand him his tip. Oh well.

Vdara's service is second to none that I've experienced on the strip. Every time I'm there I feel like I've lived there for years because the staff is so friendly. It really depends on what one is looking for, and to me that is comfort. If you want to be surrounded by ho bags and fist pumpers go to Cosmo.

As far as the service goes I have a huuuuuuuge complaint about one particular cosmo employee (is it ok to name her name??) ... I don't know her official title maybe a VIP host of some kind, her office is in the back of the high limit room. She is the rudest person I have ever come across in the "high end" service industry. I was with multiple platinum card holders and she basically would not give us the time of day and acted like we were taking up her valuable time (ummmm isn't it your job to take care of platinum members??). We were attempting to book one of their two story suites for the night, and we were willing to pay! Not even looking to get a complete comp but for some reason this woman was incredibly rude, unprofessional and cold about the whole thing... At one point we were basically kicked out of her office and waiting for her to take some BS phone call then she stuck her head out and SCREAMED at us for talking. She also quoted us a higher price for the room (about $300 more) than the front desk did (when obvi she should have been cutting us some kind of a deal). Took me forever to find out what her name was because there is no communication between the different departments apparently, eventually a very nice front desk employee was able to figure out who she was but uggggghh no communication.

yeah that lady was aids. then again, we were all quite hammered, she probably thought we wouldn't remember her lol
