Whenever I play at Venetian I always go to the food court in the grand canal shops. It's a beautiful walk, nice way to take a 20-30 minute break and clear my head. There's also White Castle, McDonalds and a bunch of places right on the strip across from Mirage. But where's a good cheap place to eat on the south side on the strip? I thought most places give $2/hr comp which means you can play 8 hours and basically eat free but a lot are $1 unfortunately.

There pretty much aren't any. which is why I avoid eating on the Strip when I can. I might get something at Nosh in Bally's, etc but only if I have the comps for it. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to pay $8 for a $4 sandwich.
Usually I'll do In n Out, which I don't have back home, or Subway in Gold Coast/Orleans. Sometimes breakfast in a hotel coffee shop.
