Re: charging phones in vegas

I carry a PowerGen Mobile Juice pack. ~$35 on Amazon. Comes with adapters for most phones.

Also, a retractable USB cable is nice - saves space and you can keep the charger in your pocket while you use the phone.

Strip: Monte Carlo Food Court (middle entrance-by slots)

Downtown: Fremont Hotel by Food Court (entrance next to Asian restaurant) There are 4 outlets on the walls and poles.

4 Queens, take the elevator next to bar closest to outside, go up to any floor, there are outlets next to the vending machine.

Can these power packs fully charge your phone? I've been looking at a few on amazon.

I carry 3 extra batteries plus a charger in my backpack. The batteries were like 5 bucks on amazon. Its easy to charge them up before I go out for a long day of poker. Plus just be aware, there are outlets all over the place in casinos.

Re: charging phones in vegas

It's not convenient for certain phones to change out the batteries (Iphone and Droid razr). Hence, the reason for these power packs.

Lol. Last couple of posts reminds me of how we used to recharge or buy batteries for GameBoys all the time.

I get 2.5-3 full charges of my Android HTC Incredible from the PowerGen. I use it mostly for camping trips but its also very handy for long poker sessions.

Re: charging phones in vegas

I've had my phone charged at MGM and they were happy to accommodate. You may want to try Mophie as well.
