I seem to remember that some of the casinos have apps through which you can place sports bets if you are in Vegas, am I remembering this correctly? If so:

Which casinos have these apps?
Are they full featured? E.g. Can u place parlay and teaser bets?
Do the apps remain functional after the physical books have closed for the night?
How do you fund the account, do you have to deposit via credit card or can you fund it with a cash deposit at casino cage/sports book?

I know Aria has it, I would guess it's an MLife app rather than Aria specific but I'm not positive. I asked the betting window about it and they said you posted cash there that would be reflected in the app account (not sure if that was the only way, or if you could do a CC charge). I could never get the app to download so didn't go through with it, so can't give any more details unfortunately.

Cantor is probably your best bet, they are at, Cosmo, V and Trop. The Cantor is probably considered the best one.

Pretty much all of them at this point.

Yes to both.

No. Well, they may have hours that extend beyond when the book is open, but I've tried to use apps at 3am and was unable to place a bet. If you need to bet late at night, South Point has a 24 hour sports book. Not sure if their app is also 24 hours (haven't tried it yet).

I funded all of my accounts years ago, so things may have changed. But it was all cash.

I'm pretty sure with all of them you have to load account at cage.

Thanks for the replies all. Did a little more digging, and yes, you need to open an account at the cage/sports book which apparently can take about 20 minutes, not including waiting time on any lines.

William Hill will send someone to you if you open a new account and fund it with more than $500 to start. I wonder if they will send someone at 10 PM (my likely arrival time) if I am opening a new account with 1k or more.

The idea is to avoid the lines in the books, especially first thing AM and end of day. I wish I had been smart enough to do this the last time I was in town.

I guess this is obvious whatever book you decide to use go to one of the quieter books to setup your account. I.E. is you setup an account with Cantor don't set it up at Cosmo or V go the Trop, if MGM don't go to Aria go to Monte Carlo.

Last time I was in town for March Madness I was downtown. Binions had huge lines but went across to 4Q run by same book, it was empty.

Pixel you can open one at Wynn, even at the window in the new poker room. Only takes about 5 minutes and rarely a line. Still working on your Players Club question.

William Hill is all over the place. I have their app and have had no issues with it.

They seem to be everywhere but the strip.

Yeah, this. I also find it odd that CET, the company with the most strip casinos, doesn't seem to have a system in place.

They are also at SLS inside Umami Burger. They have a full service window.

Ok that makes sense, was thinking closest option was Ellis Island.

For some reason not a fan of William Hill. Might because they took my two favorite books Cal Neva and LeRoy outlets. I mean I still place a bet with them if they have the best line.

I guess CET doesn't want to cater to locals who are probably the biggest users.

This seems insane when you consider the Super Bowl, NCAA, NFL, etc. Sometimes your book is slammed and people don't bet because of it. Plus you can lower labor cost.

It is odd. I wonder if the bankruptcy had any impact here.

These apps are useless. Won't take bets over $300. Will re offer tiny amounts compared to bet you wanna make. MGM app will drive you insane. You can not switch back and forth to other apps or web. It shuts down and you have to re open it.

Eyz, are you saying you started out with $300 limits on the app? Is this universal or because you have a history at these properties? If you go to the window and provide your player's card, do you face limiting?

I actually liked the MGM app this past week, especially given the busy MM lines at the book. Placed multiple $700-$800 bets without any issues. Bets were limited to $10/15 after the book closed, which I was told was because they don't monitor the app off-hours. No limits in morning once book was back open.

No I made about four bets around 1100/1000 and then every bet was was reoffered for 500 usually and sometimes 100. I usually bet totals and could not bet over 500 on app after those first couple bets.

Any of the apps offer a sign up bonus still?
