The floor tells me poker room points from Bellagio can only be used towards a short list of Bellagio's ****tier restaurants (buffet, cafe Bellagio, etc)

Anyone know a better way to use specifically points earned in the poker room?

You literally have about 4 options. Snacks or the Buffet is best bet.

There used to be a bit of flexibility in these comps. Perhaps this has changed, but I habitually used my comps at Fix even though they weren't officially allowed there. This worked 100% of the time except when I was with exactly one woman, when it worked 0% of the time.

Noodles, the Cafe, Snacks, Buffet, Gelato, the coffee place across from Gelato, and room service are the only options I believe

I had a BUNCH of Bell poker-room comp dollars built up.

The day before Thanksgiving I found myself sitting at a poker table w/ several other players that I kinda "knew" from playing against them, but didn't really "know". I ask one, then another, and then a whole conversation started about what we would all be doing for Thanksgiving. It became apparent that I wasn't the only one w/o family to spend Thanksgiving with.

So the next day I used several hundred dollars worth of my comp dollars at the buffet for other poker players, of course we all ate well, chatted about poker, and life and whatever topic came up...I thought it was good way to use some up.

I still have more comp dollars than I care admit. If I had my preference I'd just take $2 per hour in cash....

I still haven't cashed mine out ever, I think maybe 100+ hours! I'll have to check and we can maybe do a LVL regulars Bellagio buffet run this summer while I'm in town.

Do they not expire? Because if they don't, I must have a gazillion Bellagio Bucks of my own. I'm really good about using my non-poker comps and really bad about using poker ones.

Correct, they don't expire.

And correct, the comps you get from the poker room are "different" than all other gaming comps -MGM poker room comps system is fragmented and only valid at each specific MGM property, for example Bell poker rooms comps can only be used at the Bell- no good at Aria or any other MGM property, and they can only be used for food.

It is my understanding that "other" gaming comps at MGM properties, such as pit games or slots, can be used at any other MGM property.

And yeah, MGM non-poker comps are good anywhere. I usually use mine for free play though because I play too much video poker.

It's my understanding the points expire after a year of no activity. No big deal for locals, but important for players that aren't here all the time.

MGM poker room comp system has been in the stone ages -but seems to be getting better, and specific to the Bellagio poker room comps -they do not expire. Other MGM properties may be different, they're whole system is fragmented at best.

That said, CET poker room comps (Ballys, PH, Caesars, ect) due "expire" if no activity in a year.

CET is 6 months.

One thing to note:

All M Life property comps are different.

For example: If you have a lot of banked play the Bellagio, yor comps will not transition over to another M Life property such as the Aria. They really need to fix this.

That's true for poker comps IIRC. Not sure that's true for other gaming comps.

It is not true for like free play and express comps.

However generally where you play effects your offers and how much free room/rfb love you get.

For example, if you play at NYNY, youll get offers for NYNY, and not for bellagio, excal, etc.

That makes sense based on my experience as well.

OT but anyone know if Venetian poker comps expire?

I don't believe V comps expire based on my experience.

Most rooms you get the comp ticket at the front desk... does anyone know where you get it from bellagio?
I dont think it's in the front... at the cashier?

To the left of cashier a few steps down the hall on the left is a desk where they do it.
