I am talking the one with the most bang for my buck. I don't wish to go to one of the expensive ones like Wynn or Bellagio which I'm sure has good food for a high price. Not downtown either. Thanks

I wouldn't consider Bellagio in the top tier of buffets anymore, either in quality or price.
I think Planet Hollywood Spice Market buffet is a decent value, especially since it's usually pretty easy to find a coupon.

I've had 4 or 5 buffets on the strip and would second PH. They have a pretty good selection across the board. Check out the Buffet of Buffets pass...best value. https://www.caesars.com/las-vegas/buffet-of-buffets/faq

Buffet pass is a good value even though you will have the upcharge at Rio and CP but I find most of the CET buffets pretty poor quality overall. We did the pass once and regretted it, left some locations (Paris, Harrahs) hoping to not get sick.

IMHO Wicked Spoon at Cosmo is moderately priced, high quality and the best on the strip. Then again, it is not underrated either, has been at the top for years and deservingly so.

You can spend $30 or so for an average buffet that is unimpressive and wish you didn't or you can spend a few bucks more and do Wicked Spoon and never do another Vegas buffet.

I like Aria, if you can get a free one from MyVegas.
Don't like Bellagio or Monte Carlo (also free!).
TI was as cheap as you would expect, but at least it was quiet.

As said above Planet Hollywood is IMO the best of the CET buffets, I would also say the last two times I've been to Vegas we had the buffet @ Mirage and it was very good both times.

Trooper reviewed it as the worst in Vegas. PHo poker room has a promotion where you can get in free with X amount of play.

I had the brunch at Ph I thought it was kinda trash tbh. Harrah's buffet was pretty decent for the price. Really basic though.

Another vote for Aria, if you do MyVegas

PHo is nowhere near the best CET buffet on quality alone. It is way behind Caesars Bacchanal, and perhaps even a notch behind Rio and Paris. But it is the best value for the price IMO, mostly for the Middle Eastern section.

Brunch at Cosmo Wicked Spoon is also a pretty good value. (I personally don't go there as often as I'd like because I don't get the comps and line privileges there that I get at CET and MGM.)

Aria is fairly good.

Something about their Mac and Cheese is great. The thickness of the cheese I believe.

Pretty friggin expensive mac and cheese if that's mostly what you're after.

Is planet Hollywood buffet really considered a better buffet that Bacchanal? Lol

Paris breakfast buffet used to be good (haven't been in awhile), and I also thought Mirage was decent.

Have nothing to add other than I received a free buffet at the Rio a few weeks back and it was absolutely horrible. Everything had been sitting there untouched forever and the place was a ghost town with very few people. They must have got the memo... Wasn't even worth being free lol

Another vote for Mirage. Also free beer and wine there.

Also at Mirage, there is 2 for 1 deal at Samba Brazilian Steak House if you do MyVegas.

I know he did, and I was very surprised. PH buffet, for me was better than Aria's buffet. There was something about the Wynn buffet I wasn't too keen on either (I know it's not CET)

It could just all be in the timing!

Samba is a horrible place, I wouldn't return for 90% off.

There's a Fogo de Chao on Flamingo just a little east of the strip and I've also heard good things about the Texas de Brazil close to the airport if you want to have rodizio. Both chain restaurants, but at least the Fogo de Chao is significantly better than Samba.

Bellagio really isn't that expensive on the Strip. It's way cheaper than the one at Caesars Palace and also cheaper than the ones at Cosmo and Wynn. So I think Bellagio actually is the one you get the most bang for the buck because IMO it is still one of the top buffets in Vegas. In the middle of the week dinner is $36.99 which isn't much more than the typical Strip buffet that costs $30 during the same time. If you go to PH or Mirage instead, those aren't exactly cheap either.

People mention Aria which I really like but it's about the same price as Bellagio.

And I'm surprised people like Mirage because I think it's mediocre at best. I have actually avoided PH because I saw some bad reviews on it and Trooper said it was terrible. Guess I'll have to try it after reading some comments here. I didn't think it looked that good when I saw a couple of Youtube videos showing the food there (at least not good enough to try it; didn't look horrible either).

You can see Youtube videos showing the food at a lot of buffets so that's an option for the OP.

Where is the selection for "none"?
I still like wicked spoon, but its not a big destination for me unless I am entertaining or special occasion... I'll never eat at Bacchanal again.

Or lunch vs dinner. Or if you read any thread about buffets the only thing everyone agrees on is they don't agree. I usually don't like buffets myself - the kind of food they have doesn't appeal to me for the price. I like tacos, or macaroni, or pizza but I'm not paying 30 bucks for that sort of stuff. It's five or ten dollar food to me.

PHo is free with three hours of play.

Do the workers at the buffets let you go look at the food before purchasing?

I think there isn't one but there are so many that are way overrated.

If you value quality over quantity, you should probably focus on finding good restaurants on and off the strip. Plus, buffets aren't even cheap unless you eat way too much. I don't eat too much so going to decent restaurants works well for me.

By the way, we stayed at Mirage on our last trip and received free breakfast. It was absolutely horrible except for the freshly cooked eggs station.

I seem to recall that PH was a very decent value and I would go with it if I had to pay money for a buffet on the strip.

I would just go to regular restaurants though if you care about price but I understand the whole buffet excitement thing; the first couple months I lived in Vegas I thought they were cool too.
